She's speaking according to the Japanese rules of professional etiquette: Raise your pitch, speak more softly, speak clearly and pause to clearly demarcate grammar particles. I wish American businesses would adopt these rules, particularly *speaking more softly*. When giving announcements over amplification (store, airplane, hospital), it's only lack of thought (lack of culture on this detail?) that people speak in their normal harsh ways.

You are blessing. I love to keep my clothes and other things. I was in the service and still have that need to organize. Now I'm 73, the need is even more important to me. Clutter only confuses the mind and makes it difficult. Now if I could only get the kitchen organized I would cook more.

I'm curious why not put the small end all the way thru the loop to hold it in place and match with big end of tie, and then roll it in as I've seen most people do. Are both ways equally as good or is there a difference in results to why she folds in half twice?

You put the tail through the loop and match it with the point on the large end. Then start to roll gently at the fold.

That is not the correct way to roll a tie. You put the small blade through the retaining loop, and then begin a gentle roll from the folded end ensuring no creases, or folds during the roll.

SHIN BAKI HANMA ...did you stretch throughly before you made that reach? Marie Kondo knows how to take care of the space around her and the belongings in it. She applies the same care to storing panties, socks and all items of clothing. Keeping her life tidy isn't just about taking "care of her man".

@@Drageisha Did you watch the same vid I did?? Did you hear how she informed you how to properly fold a man's necktie?? She also knows how to perfectly tie a man's necktie. Now, I'm well aware that she's no housekeeper, but her skills translate to immense domestic knowledge. I've seen the shit she can do, and the things she does, immediately inform me that she is amazingly talented at domestic duties, i.e. taking care of her man, which is nothing to shun. Shit, I wish I knew how to do half the things Marie does. Fortunately, and/or unfortunately, I've had women taking care of those things for me. You need to have common sense to recognize these things.
