this athlete seems to have an unconventional pull - his elbows go back rather than up. is this an anatomical limitation? Is he such a good athlete he can get away with it?
You probably have poor control of your core, probably overextended lumbar. Check out the McGill Big 3. Also learning how to do hollow holds was very helpful for me but I still can't do them fully.

You should go to a doctor or physiotherapist. Without proper testing you won’t be sure what’s going on and how to fix it anyway but it sounds like you’re doing something wrong and/or you’re stiff
