The clarity you’ve given me, a new CLC, between outcome focused and progress focused is huge. I’ve saved this video to watch a few more times to create outlines for each. Thank you.
Thanks so much for making this video, Coach Ajit. I'm just starting out with my first 2 clients the day after tomorrow. The knowledge you shared here is pure gold. The whole session was full of Aha moments for me but one thing that really stood out to me was @16:08 how in session 10, we can make a 'soft sell' around any additional issue that as a coach we might have identified during our sessions. That's really wonderful advice to create your loyal client base. Thanks very much from the bottom of my heart.
This was very helpful especially since this will be my first time doing something like this. My favorite take away is to have a designed outcome and be clear about it also to see where the client is at before watching this video I didn’t think to do that. Thanks so much 🎉😊
What stood out to me is that I was surprised to hear about progress based coaching being harder / for more advanced coaches. I started out doing this and it has worked out well so far. I appreciate your insight and guidance on structuring coaching sessions! Your videos are great. I am a spiritual life coach, specializing in trauma healing and grief & loss.
This is gold Ajit! You have practically given a fool-proof way to structure and package Coaching. What stood out for me is while you have explained the coaching cycle, you did emphasise that it is dynamic. It is very important to be mindful of that. I see some Coaches, following with the process without course-correction. That delays outcomes and might shake confidence of the coach and of the client too. It’s important to track what’s going right and wrong and quickly upgrade way of coaching, where it is needed. Thank you for this video.
I am a voice, speech, and presence coach. I work with those professionals who are facing challenges, hurdles, and barriers to the achievement of their goals that they ascribe to the effective and authentic use of their voice and speech - how it sounds to them and to others and how it is causing others to perceive them that is not in alignment with their own internal vision of themselves, their capabilities, and their essence - their voice.
Hi Ajit ... I am a Divorce Coach and Personal Life Coach. Thank you for this video it offered great tips on the structure of coaching a client and ensuring to review and reward.
This was so amazing. Definitely a gift to me from the universe. Im a starting put coaching who was very stuck till now. I am going to focus on outcome agreement. This message was what i need to help me build and understand the programme i wont to offer my clients. I love that the structure is so simple and easy to follow. It gave me even more clarity and what i need to do. Thank you so much appreciate your time and energy.
I am a life coach who operates in the progress model. This video helped me identify this because that was not intentional. It was geared around the outcome of my clients. ALL of your videos are helpful to me; that is why I consider myself a student of yours. Thank you!!!
I am a life, business, and wellness coach. This video is helpful because I operate with a progress model to get to outcomes for my clients. This video has helped me reshape my thinking around my coaching model.
This is so amazing. A co-worker came to me about her struggles. I started coaching her about life and this is the steps that I used and didn't realize it. She advised me that I should be a Life Coach and get paid because I give great advice and I am great a motivator. So, I came to RU-vid and came across your video. Wow! This is totally amazing! This confirmation! Thank you!
Since Last 2 weeks I was thinking and researching on how to structure my sessions perfectly. Your video came to rescue me. I watched it slowly with a mindset to realize and understand the importance of every line you said and then I made notes to go through it again. I am so grateful to you for making this video. Vishen was helping me evolve my mind and now you are helping me to evolve as coach. WOW !! Lots of love to you both.
@@deepakgiri8854 That's a great book! You might also enjoy "The Prosperous Coach" by Rich Litvin and Steve Chandler, and "The Book of Coaching" by Coach Ajit and Neeta Bhushan. Thanks for sharing, Deepak!
I come from the world of counseling and I am new to life coaching I like the flexibility that life coaching provides what stood out for me and your video is the celebrating each step of victory that's something that was not really encouraged in my training and I think it can be really valuable
That's a great question, Coach Vich! That's exactly what ~Session #10 is about - reviewing where you are from where you started (celebrate the wins!), how the process evolved (did the goal change?), and what the client needs (did their needs change?). It also opens the conversation for a soft sell to continue the coaching journey for longer and support the client to achieve their outcomes. You can learn more about the coaching process in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vqU8lvLmeAY.html. Thanks for sharing ❤
I am a life and performance coach. I enjoy my clients' progress and am their cheerleader. When resonated was fixing on finalizing their habits and creating structure
I had started my journey in becoming a life coach 2 years ago, but stopped after the pandemic ended. This video made me excited again about perusing life coaching as Ajit explains things well.
I have a better understanding of difference between outcome and progress coaching. I tend to do progress coaching but did not have that name for it. Clarity on coaching session structure is appreciated.
Thank you so much for this.. Thank you so much! Words don't teach, experiences do and if you are out to make an impact, this is amazing! I am new to coaching so I just want to help change educational systems.. Thank you so much Ajit. Many blessings for this valuable information. What stood out was that we are serving our clients by keeping our eye on the outcome or progress. I often feel like pushing the time frame of the sessions (say 4 max), however, that’s a belief I had… I can see that clients do benefit from a longer and consistent time frame and clear defined outcome or progress (at the start).
Welcome to the coaching community, Kenneth! We're so glad this video was valuable and we hope our channel can support you on your learning journey. Thanks for sharing ❤

Thx Ajit for your video.🙂🙏...I am working as life and business coach - in firm where Iam working and Life coach fir my own business....and it is true for my client is 5xtreatments for 2weeks for basic 👍
Great question! A popular practice among coaches is to send a coaching form or assessment questionnaire to gather information about the client before the first coaching session. So you can use that as the starting point and then refer back to it at the end (or during) the client's time working with you. Here's our coaching form template: www.evercoach.com/wp-content/uploads/Coaching-Form-Template-by-Evercoach.pdf. Hope this answers your question :)
Coach Ajit, You Rock Sir Thank you, Great content ready to put into action. Copious notes on this one and one idea i Loved was the 10 step and then the constant reinforcement of the goal achievement connecting it back to the cause Great Coaching and their willingness to do the work!
Thank you for this instructive breakdown of a coaching session. What really caught my attention was celebrate every small wins and always be encouraging in all situations.
Hola Ajit! Fuerte abrazo.
This was inspired action.. Im totally new and would love anyone that is new or can help to comment as i'm starting a new life as a life coach... lets connect and see where all the cooperative components are. Lets all COCREATE together.. .Thank you Ajit
Thank you Ajit! First time visitor here and this was excellent value added as a new coach. I am a Health and Wellness coach, but I believe with all my heart that true transformation happens holistically so mindset, accountability, spiritually are all connected. To ignore an area is to allow weeds to grow and we all want that weedless garden.
Hi Ajit, I would like to know. I'm a little confused because in the coaching session sheet of the coaching planner training, the client has to set the goal of the session. But in the structure of the 12 sessions, there's a specific goal as "identify the challenges" for the session N°2. So overall, what do we apply ? should we ask the goal for each session to the client or follow the structure you nicely give us here? Thank you so much ! :)
Hi Sarah! That's a great question - usually, a coaching plan will have an overarching goal of what the client wants to achieve as a result from the coaching relationship. This goal should be the constant in all coaching sessions, BUT there may be sessions when something else comes up that the client wants to discuss that may be hindering them from taking action. So it's important for you, as their coach, to offer that possibility. You can say "last week we were discussing about X, would you like to continue that conversation?" or "what would make today's conversation great for you?". There is no one-size-fits-all solution, but both approaches work depending on where your client is at in that particular moment/session. We hope this clarifies! ♥
@@mindvalleycoach Ok so I do keep following the overall structure that you give us here, such as identifying the challenge for my second session with my current client, but always open a space if they want to talk about a specific issue they might be facing now. Then come back to the initial session for their principle goal if I got it right? Thank you so much for taking the time to answer, you’re really helping me tremendously to build my coaching practice 😊🙏
This was great! I am a spiritual life coach that specializes in self love and chakra healing. I love to see people transform and become holistically whole in the mind, body and spirit.
I love watching all your videos. One because you are an amazing coach. What I love about you is that though money of course is a factor in this career as in all careers. You truly come from a heart centered place and truly care about your clients. Not just the money. I am in DCI right now. I love it! Transitioning careers. I love all of you tons! Thank you Ajit I am truly grateful for your words of wisdom always xo
I commented previously but THIS comment is after I implemented exactly what you taught. I used your teaching Anjit to create a 3-month coaching proposal which was enthusiastically accepted. We are in the final two weeks of that agreement now. Much to celebrate. This was a progress vs outcomes approach too.
My take away from this video is that as, Coach was describing what the four pillars and types of coaching are, I noticed that he was putting the methods in to useful applications in demonstration at that very moment. I also learned that I have been stuck in a methodology from previous coaching that was very limited in experience with diversity. And I Have been using a "one way " type of modeling so to speak, that is very limiting to my desired coaching experience, because it hinders my mind from being open to many different walks of life for everyone who may come to me for coaching! I AM greatful to see this and correct it now. I am hopeful that I have what it takes to continue in my future endeavors with becoming a excellent person and life coach. THIS helps so much. I believe that it's safe to say I am letting go what I thought was hindering from moving forward with my decision with evercoach. The outcome of what I have experienced so far is tremendous progress, in a shift of my mindset and limited thinking to boundless agility to apply a structure for my business. Thank you for your insight and your time, Love, Light, and Blessings unto you and everyone on here. Have a Awesome day

Hi Shaun! Thank you for sharing. It's always great for a coach to be versatile and able to create results for different clients. However, if you're looking to grow your coaching business, it's always best to have one niche to focus on so your messaging and enrollment efforts can be most effective (you can always change your niche later on). We suggest watching this video to help you choose the best and most profitable niche: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hhfIjkzHSkU.html. We hope this helps!
I am a life coach. My passion is helping others get rid of the type of thinking that keeps them from walking on confidence to be and do what they were made for.
Thank you for teaching me how to structure my future coaching business. I like how you gave 2 different types of ways - progress & outcome agreement. Very informative!
Thanks again Ajit, it is another helpful video to understand better the structure of a coaching session specially for those like me who jumped in this field without experience on it...highly appreciated!!
Hi Ajit. I am starting out as a Communication Coach. I will coach people on how to communicate with confidence and overcome their shyness in interviews, public settings, presentations, etc. My question is how do sessions 9-10 differ from sessions 3-8? In 3-8, we are to reorganize their mind while in 9-10 we are helping build new behaviors and habits. Isn't there lots of overlap between these 2? Won't exercises that help reorganize the mind also help build new behaviors and habits? It just seems a little redundant, how do we make sure we're covering unique material?
Hi Khurty! This coaching plan is a template to organize your sessions, but as mentioned, it's just a template as a guide. Each session will ultimately be whatever the client needs at the time. If reorganizing their mind only needed 2 sessions, then they can already jump into the next section of behaviors and habits, and focus on that. Or maybe they need more sessions for clarity in the beginning, and then the other sections take less time. It will depend on each client and what they need at the moment in their journey. Exercises and topics may overlap, but that's okay because they are all part of the same journey and complement each other. The idea of this template is to ensure we cover each step as those steps will ultimately create the results our clients are looking for. But, as coaches, we must take the fundamentals and create our own plans to meet each individual clients' needs. We hope this clarifies! :)
