I currently use cue cards as flash cards for active recall and it’s honestly so time consuming to create them. Pearson and the white board notes were sooo helpful! Thank you so much for sharing!
Switching to Pearson Prep and using mobile flashcards will definitely save you time! But also remember that the process of making the flashcards counts as studying too. It acts as a review before you go into active recall 👍
Great tips! Studying from home is something I've already struggled with as I would often get sidetracked and forget about tasks. I'm so used to studying at the library I was not prepared for all the working from home that came with the pandemic. Your tips really help me stay productive!
I completely relate! I ONLY study at the library. But with everything closed, I really have to tell myself that when I'm sitting at my desk, I NEED TO BE DOING WORK AND ONLY WORK. It's hard but I know you'll manage!!

NATHAN, that tips helped a lot ❤ I executed the biology🐳 and chemistry 🍺part well.. But the only thing I struggle with is applying those concepts and without applying them I just forget them after a day or two, it kinda sucks 😶😥
I am so behind in my corses so I haven’t had much study time. I’ve been craming last minute. So writing - study schedule in a calendar or agenda would be great for me.
It also makes you less stressed! It may seem overwhelming when you think about all the tests you have upcoming and how many chapters you need to study, but when you plan it all out and do a bit everyday, you realize that it's actually manageable
THANK YOU SO MUCH , I needed to hear this. I am taking a general bio class because I am a pre-nursing student. I took my first exam and got 48/98 and I wasn’t putting myself down because I knew I needed to improve on some things and really understand what I need to focus on . I learned that I need to spend more time on the vocabulary and concepts and really really going over the information and “teach” it so that I can grasp it. I will burn myself out doing practice questions and taking notes without even understanding the concepts nor vocabulary and get really lost. Thank you for sharing!! I will definitely use this information as a new strategy

Chem is ALL ABOUT PRACTICE! My study sessions for orgo were always very long... Exams can only ask a question in so many ways, so as long as you keep at it, you'll become increasingly comfortable with the content!

A lot of students think that making a study schedule is a waste of time. Yes, it will take maybe 30 min or so, but the amount of time you save in the long run can be more than a day!

I took statistics and there was some coding required - we used R. For that, I had to simply practice, practice, practice. It was the only way I could remember the formulas. That was the extent of my comp sci experience, however, I hope it still helped aha

I get discouraged really easily. I failed my first two bio lecture exams. I'm discouraged yet determined to do better, and I'm hoping to not make the same mistake, as well as change my strategy.
