I love watching your videos. I love wearing black (mostly skirts and tops), and then dress it up with coloured outer wear (jackets, kimonos, cardigans, etc.). And bulky jewellery. I helps me not to get wardrobe overwhelm, and by hanging my newly washed outerwear at the back and pick from the front gives me the chance to wear almost all my outerwear without repeating the same pieces all the time and overlooking what I have in my wardrobe. Your style approach is great and Im sure you are helping many women out there.

Hi I have not seen your videos for a while, i know we should not comment on peoples figure, but I am going to ignore that for today. You look smashing, i hope your weight los was due to you wanting to lose weight and not through an illness. I will start watching your inspiring videos again. Thank you for showing wide leg jeans - right after I bought them, the weather turned foul for months on end, so I haven’t worn them much and lost confidence. I’m petite in all ways, and I agree about elongated ballet flats as I can’t wear heels. I also love linen or cotton scarves. At the moment though it’s still so wet and muddy on the Isle of Wight that I’m living in skinny jeans and wellies.

I did a One Year One Dress challenge and wore the same sheath dress every day for a year in 2023. I made 2 more drssses for 2024 and doing One Year Three Dresses this year. 😅

I think during the cold weather it’s harder as you just want to keep cosy, and end up layering and feeling frumpy. I enjoy dressing when the weather is better, and I can wear more dresses and little jackets rather than warm coats and scarves.

Maria, my clothes are either trash that I wear in the yard or no longer fit my fat tummy. Now I'm 72 so have very little need for "nice" clothes. I'm at a complete loss.

You still deserve nice clothes for you! I’d suggest you find one or two pieces that make you feel good as a start and wear them just for you. Choose a colour you love that makes you smile and if you know your best colours put those close to your face. That distracts attention from your tummy if you are conscious of it. X

some things are great,,, those maryjane shoes should only be for children,,, same with the maryjane ballet flats,,, they are a childs shoe,,,, a sweater tied around the shoulders makes people look older,,, love the pleather jacket,,, and the sweater with the white button up under,,,, maybe things are a bit different in the USA

I'm so sorry - but it's pronounced jew-el-ry. Not jew-le-rey. Think "jewel"-ry. That's what we're essentially wearing, and where the term came from. Jewels. This is just a sticking point for me in English primarily because it has to do with what the thing really is. Please don't take offense - but use this info as you like. And thanks for your video - it has a lot of great stuff in it!
