what coating do you put on the plate afterward so you can eat off of them

most plates with prints on top that I've seen are decorative only, not for eating. Different style plates that are clear and have prints on the back side that show through, can be eaten on because the print is on the back. But I don't know how dishwasher safe they are, probably not

How do you prevent wrinkles / lines / gaps from curvature?

Applying a flat piece of paper to a curved surface is never going to provide a perfect print. Paper crease marks and distortion tend to be more noticeable when doing full-bleed designs, so sometimes it’s more about making the right design decision for the substrate you’re using or selecting a different substrate based on the result you want. With plates in particular, sometimes all you need do is bring your design in from the edge a bit, and remove any excess transfer paper to achieve a good result without losing impact.

You could try cutting small slits in the paper in the areas that curve on the plate. If you're carful, you could cut away any overlap, so the paper isn't creasing. It's worth a try.

Is this a sublimation plate or can you sublimate on any polymer plate? I can't seem to find the answer online.

The plate we used is a blank made specifically for sublimation. With a dedicated blank, there is no risk of it containing any potentially unsuitable or unsafe materials that may cause harm to your equipment or personal safety.

Do you have templates for different size photos to be printed out!!;

Some of the more complicated shaped blanks on our website have templates under the resources tab on our website. However generally we would recommend creating your own templates.

how big of a plate can you put in this machine?
@Ceramicraft

The plate accessory allows you to do plates up to 25.4cm (10") using the vacuum, but since, this machine has internal dimensions of ~ 30cm x 43cm x 11cm and can also be used as an oven you could potentially press anything
