As a beginner, with zero bike experience I really appreciate your time and effort on these vids. I don't have anyone to tell me the proper technique so watching these vids before attempting is tremendously helpful. Thank You! I love all of your content.
He’s a good teacher, no doubt. I rode and raced dirt bikes as a teenager, and in my early 20’s. I’m 50 now, and I just bought my first dual sport a year ago, and these videos have been very helpful for me as well. I hope he continues to educate.
Natural leader... You can teach! I've been 'trying' to ride for 12 years and you've changed the game for me. For the first time, I'm (just now) starting to understand my shortcomings and looking at this like a school. I watch these videos from time to time, like a weekly class, and I always come out having learned something new. Thank you Adam. Your name will live on!
ok, hope this doesn't sound arrogant, but if you know the area and track thats one challenge, what if its all new territory, unknown conditions, thanks for taking time to share your skills, experience and talents
Ive had my first Husky for a few months now. A 701 that I'm towing around Australia so i can ride a whole bunch of amazing places. Its no 300, but for what im doing, it is the perfect fit. Great videos, frothy for some Warhorse action.
Thanks Adam, really enjoyed that series. The best way for me to get through that first big deep rut is to avoid it at all costs I think. Thanks again. 🇦🇺👍
Love this series in general. I'm an ADV rider (2016 Africa Twin) and I'm still picking up on little things - crossing logs (I'll stick with sticks LOL). Your clear methodical explanations are fantastic. I wish I could spend a day at your track, that'd be the most amazing experience. HUGE fan of your vids. Love the travel stories - esp your Africa Twin trip and restoration. Anyway, cheers CAM from NZ :)
Great series Adam, magic work, content and delivery everything you looks so simple but love the lessons See you out on the warhorse soon looking forward to the next adventure you bring to us Thanks Heaps Dave
I just bought myself a 2016 te300 and love it but I’m learning to ride all over again after not riding dirt for 20 years almost great videos and really helpful pointers thanks
Man I could have used this video yesterday! I was beached like a whale and it took me about 15 minutes to get the bike out. That was super fun in 90 degree temperatures with 80% humidity. I’ll try this next time. Great video.
I am becoming a good rider by just watching your amazing educational video you are the best person I have seen explaining about adventure and off road . Thank You !!
I bloody did exactly what you said can happen on the last rut I went round, hopped out the rut, dab the ole leg and bent him back the wrong way 😶🌫️ Great video mate. Keep up the great work 🙏🏽
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽thank ya sir! Mighty fine to share your abilities with us. And agreed on the te300i. Mine is way more capable than I’ll ever be at 46 yrs old. Still a blast! 🏍️💨 See you and the warhorse soon!
Awesome video! These are just great! Thank You! Youre so right, that the only way to learn is practise. Same thing with swimming. You only learn to swim when someone throws you off the pier, so same thing here. Get into it! Thank You so much for these videos!! ✌️😎
@AReimann1 love this how to series , you're great at explaining technique simply and effectively. that little rut track you've got looks so much fun, more like the stuff i'm used to riding and racing back in England with the timecard enduros. I live on the Sunshine coast now and do miss the dark loamy soil in England. Seems you have a lot more freedom when it comes to riding over in W.A. Keep it up man, loving all the ADV content too. I'm trying to convince my boss to get an ADV bike so he can come ride with me haha.
Quality vid as always mate! Cheers I agree with what you said, sometimes you need to get off youtube and actually get out there! These technique vids are really helpful though. Thanks legend!
Husky and KTM are great for the short run or race but my experience they are not reliable for the outback run and putting serious miles on it. Some people argue that . I grew up racing in the eighties and they were great bikes left side kick . But newer ones went to much Chinese . So I went back to simplicity in Japanese . I kept breaking down fuel pumps going out or hard to start or won't start . The anxiety of it just kills the ride .
Hi , i have 1 200 kilogram 650cc bike re int 650 and i go to jungles to see birds and photograph them. I get this type of terrain a lot, can you showme how this can be passed on a nomal motocycle. I know its not the right bike but but sometimes you have to work with what you have. Thank you very much , a big fan of your videos since past 5 years.
I hate them at the moment…😂watching this with my left leg elevated and an ice bag on my ankle. Had a deep rut today that caught my toe and rotated my foot 180 degrees. I can’t stress enough….”toes in!”….I failed in this basic principle today and it cost me big….😕
Thank you. Fun to watch. You make that TE look like a pitbike. In case it helps, your helmet mic was too hot in the beginning. Also it's time to ditch the tight white pajamas riding gear. Try something more current, with rainbows.
I'm nearly certain I speak for a significant percentage watching when I say this (even if they don't want to admit it)... that just isn't going to happen on anything other than small enduro or dirt bikes ridden by absolute weapons so for anyone that doesn't encompass, just find a way around - arriving in one piece is way cooler than a complex spiral fracture above your boots and a tens of thousands of dollar rescue job.
I hate ruts and mud in general. I'd only ever ride off-road in the desert. Not so much in the soft sand though. Well, I guess some people are never content. Sigh...
