Here's a quick how to on PLANTED SEATS BRACKETS. I was super easy and straight foreward. Just a few sockets and maybe and allen key and you should be good to go.
I wanna use those brackets in my 92 mustang and I wasnt sure whether it would actually fit to the seat I wanted which are the seats you have, thanks for the video it helped alot👍🏽
If you go to the planted website all you have to do is enter your make and model. The brackets have multiple openings for any aftermarket seat. But on the off chance it doesn't fit, they leave enough space to cut your own holes
For economy reasons, instead of buying an entire new bracket, why not just add shims, spacers or spacer brackets? Then, you could even fine tune the height by stacking shims/spacers.
I’m super late but would you recommend going with a regular driver side seat bracket and a low passenger seat bracket to make the seats even? I know the g35s passenger are raised slightly higher but just wanted to see if I should do that or go both regular
rx8 seats in 1985 rx7 They are easy to make, I made them in my garage, and they turned out perfect and I only spent about $50.00 on materials! Why pay so much money, when it is something simple to do in your own Garage! NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!
What was the original low bracket brand? Did you get considerably lower than stock even with the sliders? Ain't got a G35 but I'm a tall ass looking for some more headroom in my 2015 WRX.
Nice video man, there isn't much visual info on seat brackets in the G35s. I'm curious about the high and low passenger brackets, I wanted the seats to be close to being even in height but that XMSN footwell hump complicates things.
@@thecarcouple3538 You have the short driver and standard passenger, how noticable is the height difference from inside the car and from looking through the windshield standing outside? Also how tall are you bro? I'm 6'1" is there enough head clearance with the standard driver seat bracket? If you had to do it all over again would you do a different setup?
@@DzusINC I’m 6’0 I run a lower seat bracket on the driver side and passenger is high one the high seat bracket is similar to the oem hight a little higher cause my head would damn near hit the top of the car
