Thank you so much for this video!! After 4 years of not working, I finally climbed up on my bed, steadied myself with a golf club, (I am 77) and found the up down code hole in the fixture. My remote had accidentally been programmed wrong, and after adjusting the up downs to match in the remote, the fan and light work perfectly. Amazingly easy fix...THANKS YOU!!
Hi. I have the same fan but can't find a model number anywhere on the unit. My remote broke and I threw it away so I can't get any info from off of it. It looks exactly like yours. Would you happen to have any info I could get from you please?
Should you be able to dim and turn the light on/off with the remote? My light goes bright and dim (two settings) either really bright or very dim. But the only way for the light to go completely off is by using the switch.
Hi there! I'm having a little problem with my new Harbor Breeze Summersville ceiling fans, model 42192. I bought two of these for my porch. I installed the first one with no problems. The remote works perfectly well. Today I installed the second one. The second remote works ...but it's also controlling the first fan. The remote for the first fan only affects the first fan. The remote for the second fan controls BOTH fans. Both fans are identical models and are both on the same circuit. Any ideas on how to make the second remote control ONLY the second fan? Many thanks!
@@ALLworldCONSTRUCTIONLLC Thanks, but unfortunately both fans are on the same breaker. I have one remote programmed which controls both fans simultaneously, so I'll just have to live with that.
