Great video BUT what you have not shown is how the connectors come apart and fit together in the first place. I am trying to remove the connector to the door lock on a mark 4 golf and I cannot see how it latches together AAaaaarg

Great video well worth the effort. I have both male and female connectors cracked on my seat it’s the grey one which connects the main harness to the engine harness I think? Is it the same procedure when changing those connectors? Cheers 👍🏼

Hey there I appreciate the detailed video, I have a pigtail connector that goes to my '16 Audi Q5 2.0. I broke a couple of them by the grey locking tab so I need to replace them to secure properly. They are very similar to the knock sensor you showed at the end of the video but have a 90 degree angle connector, looks like two pieces. I am worried about breaking the 90 degree piece trying to separate them, do you have tips on how to separate the two? The part # is 7806793 seems to be holding part # 4F0973702A

Is any connector compatible with the wiring ? Do you need a specific one . My throttle body harness conector broke when I was trying to disconnect and to replace the harness is a headache it's possible but I rather connect a new connector isnted of replacing it

Is there way to remove the wiring from a 14 pin connector (1JO 973 737) ? It doesn't have the pink locking clip and the wiring is difficult to remove. Your help will be appreciated. Thanks

You skipped over the 6 pin connector which has smaller and different pins. I haven't been able to de-pin it because the slots to insert the a tool are diagonal. Could you please show how to remove the pins. The majority of connectors have just disintegrated. If anyone knows how to do this, please comment. Much appreciated, and thanks.
