I love taking turmeric and black pepper for my skin. I put it in my tea and drink it every night. Before doing so I used to have really bad acne. Like I’d cry and never wanna go out bad. Iv heard of people taking it for its anti- inflammatory properties so I gave it a try. Once I started using it my acne started to go down and my skin healed faster. Now that I take it constantly my skin is almost perfect. Topical skin care failed me. I spent so much money on different things but taking turmeric& black pepper save my skin thank God ! Now all I have to do is drink it and have a basic skin care routine 🤟🏼😩!
"They haven't quite gotten into performing as many human studies as they need to." Yes...quite right. Yet Curcumin has been around since studies began. I suspect it's because they can't charge $30,000 a month for it.
Great information! Arsalan, may I suggest, It will be more beneficial for us to absorb the information if you speak a bit slower, thanks a lot. Jazakallah!
Doctor! Appreciate your efforts and helping us all. However, I'm 80 years old and my diminished hearing and mental acquity can;t handle your 200 words/ minute! Please consider us!
Great information. If you're not from the East coast, his talking speed may be given too quickly. Just turn on the CC, closed caption, and follow along.
I watched this video and then went on Amazon and bought some Thorne circumin and vitamin D. I need something to help my post workout recovery. I will also say that that MM creatine has me feeling like the hulk in the gym. I been taking it for a month and I feel strong as an ox
Doc I don’t take the turmeric in pills form but the raw powder form I takes it mixing with warm milk and a pinch of black peppers , what’s your comments .
I am a healthy person & not taking any medication. 1 - Can i drink by mixing 1 tsp of turmeric to a glass of warm water and touch of pepper at night after dinner. 2 - How many times a week? 3 - for how long? Thank you for educating us & i appreciate your contribution to the society.
Aloha, great info but my goodness, PLEASE SLOW DOWN. If I have to try playing around with speeds on my I pad ( not technically inclined) I prefer finding some one who speaks😊 a little bit slower. Still it was very informative,ty✌🏼.
Thank u very much for this vedeo Can we use raw turmeric juice with black pepper in leucoplakia nhow much turmeric is required to obtain 1000 mcg of curcumin
You mention the Thorne Meriva. Out of these two what would you choose? Thorne curcumin phytosome 500mg Meriva or Pure Encapsulations Cucumin 500 with Bioperine?

I’m taking Liquid Tumeric Curcumin 1000 MG because in the past I fell on my right knee twice and I think my knee was swollen from inside and I never took care of it and I was reading about Tumeric Curcumin and I wanted to give it a try and it’s working and I don’t feel pain anymore. I am taking liquid Tumeric Curcumin 1000MG and I’m having it with a meal. I’m also juicing greens every morning and my vitamins as well, is it ok?
I use a supplement with ultra turmeric (525mg turmeric and 210mg curcuminoids) and black pepper. Is it safe to take capsul every day, or should we stop it up to a few months?
Dude it’s not hard to get it from diet at all! Turmeric root is 3% active meaning 30mg per gram. Most benefits are seen between 150-1000mg. Throw an ounce of fresh turmeric through the juicer should give you all you need as 80% of the nutrients are held in the juice
Really liked the video but please do speak a bit more in measured tones and rhythm. U sound like u r almost stumbling over ur words. But great content otherwise. Thx.
Doc, great informative video about Turmeric. I appreciate how direct you present the info. I’ve been supplementing 1K mg daily since discovering the medicinal benefits of it outside of medical school since I subscribe more to a natural pathetic approach to medicine & believe more in preventive methods rather than treatments to ameliorate preventable symptoms. An hippocratic approach to medicine after discovering during school, teaching symptom amelioration aka, pharmaceutical intervention. I believe in meditation, using cannabis, & CBD oils. Not into the burning incense & collecting of crystals since there is zero scientific proof they actually work. But keep up the phenomenal reviews doc. You’ve gained a new subscriber. Cheers & stay safe.
Hi Doc. Please could you interpret the solgar product information 'Full Spectrum Curcumin (turmeric extract (curcuma longa) (rhizome)) - 800mg, Providing: Total Curcuminoids - 48mg, Curcumin - 40mg' into an easier way to understand? Thanks
What are your thoughts on theracumin curcumin which is also supposed to be very bioavailable, and longvida curcumin which has been proven to cross the blood brain barrier?
It's a good thing I listen to the end because I do have A gallbladder stone I enjoyed your video but you talk too fast too much information so fast that I can't really absorb everything you're saying I don't do speed reading or speed talking could you please make other videos and speak slowerIt would enjoy it much better
A lot of that heavily depends on the sourcing of the turmeric! However, some studies suggest that liquid extracts lead to more absorption. Subscribe to stay up to date with new videos! 🙂🔔
There's a local MLM guy who sells specialty circumin. But I don't need mine from MLM. The way I get it is probably far more effective for less money just like I found with Nutrilite vitamins versus just another brand made with whole foods. So, if you're taking a cheaper brand and there's nothing wrong with that but take it with some black pepper or ginger and take it when you're eating something with fat because it's fat soluble. And stay away from those forms..stay away from any kind of naturopathic things that are made into phytosomes or phospholipids. The side effects are not worth it. Let me back up, if the lipid is sunflower oil sourced from meriva that's probably ok. But not all phospholipids are sunflower sourced.
I put one cup of water into a small pot add 3 tablespoons of turmeric, add some black pepper, and cook for about 7 minutes, It should have the texture of a paste. Take it off the stove, and add 3 tbs of curcumin. you can add some olive oil or coconut oil .It will keep 2 weeks in the fridge.I take I teaspoon in the morning, and one at night.
Dear doctor, as a physician, you must know the importance of speaking clearly so that you can be understood. Please video this tape again, thereKs so much vital information here.
I realized I spoke too fast when voice recognition would combine two or three words into one I never said. If I slow it down, VR works perfectly. Fast speech is a hard habit to break, but you do need to work on it. This video should be 15% longer to put space in between words. You would have made a good auctioneer if you had not gone to medical school.
@@joeljames2294 I'm just having fun with you. My sister told me last week that she was told that she could be an auctioneer. I listen fast so it works!✌🏿
I have been hearing Turmeric will cause a False Positive. Have anyone ever heard of this? I take a lot of turmeric/curcumin and Aleve for my knees. Thanks
It did for me. I switched to theracumin and I’m going to see how well that works. I know there’s many in the internet that have complained it affected their sex drive in a negative way but theracumin is supposedly the solution to this.
It is a shame the way you speak (fast with no breathing space between the words) make it very hard to follow what you say. I would remake this useful video at a slower speed thank you
You really need to slow down your speech. Please do this. Also, learn to annunciation … your speech is garbled … you are swallowing your words. I recommend a good speech therapist.
