Kevin, your shots of Sophia are awesome. The way you can ask her to do what SHE wants is inspiring and she is also so beautiful. You are an artist man. That is so clever what you say about letting them do the dramatic poses and then relax. Perfect solution. Oh and of course Happy New Year!
Thanks. My philosophy with models is to let them model. If I could model as well as they could, I'd just do it. I only make micro adjustments when I see something through the camera that I know they can't see. Also something small like "move your hand up an inch or so." Anything more than that and you lose the authenticity. Much appreciated on the kind words.
excellent information; well done as usual; liked all the extra tips re payment, posing, working with talent and working collaboratively and as usual your compassionate honesty.
Tons of gold nuggets shared here. Thank you. When you talked about doing digitals for a model before a main shoot, that gave me an idea. When reaching out to models for TFP or collab shoots, could you offer digitals as an incentive? For example: “Hey I’d love to work with you on a creative photo shoot I had in mind. If you need new digitals, I’d be happy to shoot those for you.” Would models be receptive to that? Thanks again for sharing your knowledge.
If you feel like it adds value to your shoots then I think it’s fine to offer it up. Once you get more established, I might pull the reins back on offering it so much so you can make money off it too. I would offer it only to models you really want to work with. Make sure you charge to do them too, so you can eat
Thanks for reaching out. Here is a link to my You Tube video on it. They sell it on Amazon ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aqDmhE5nNgM.html
