Taking notes is a fundamental that you must learn in order to become a cyber security professional. If you are not taking notes, you are not learning and therefore you are stuck in a boring job, doing boring things.
To get to that next step, you must take notes. This allows you to solidify what you are learning through out the lesson or lab. It also is a good reference for later. I do not know everything, but I do know if I have a problem that I have experienced before, I can reference it in my notes quickly. This will save me time and allow me to put my energy and effort to learning or improving another skill.
To take it a step further, and further increase productivity, you must check out Notion. Leading up to just recently, I have taken all my notes on Joplin. Joplin has been great and is an alternative to Notion as it supports the markdown language and provides a solution for taking notes offline. Although, with Notion, we can automate tasks, create templates, track tasks and much more. So with that being said, this video will start a new playlist for when I cover topics related to Notion and the various things I use it for.
I strongly suggest you take notes, use this video as a guide to get you on the right track. This is not a perfect solution for taking notes, but it works for me for now.
