Good counseling. One more thing though… You can store Ozempic at room temperature below 86F or 30C for 56 days. No requirement to keep it in the fridge once in use.

Thank you for this. Yes very useful info. And when traveling, please keep it in hand luggage. Don't leave the injection in parked car as temperatures during summer can exceed 40 degree centigrade easily in car and drug will be useless

I just got .25 - .5 Same price for higherdose i paid $530 for 2 - 2ml pens Now i wish i got thr higher dose and just stopped injection half way so i would have doubled my supply for same price

This was very useful!! Thank you! I was worried I did something wrong for myself when I counted 6-8 after I pressed the button and not after seeing “0”. But as I see the liquid “explodes” out and the “0” also shows very quickly almost at the same time, so it should be fine. 👌

Start with 0.25mg once weekly for 4 weeks. Please don't rush in increasing the doses as tolerance develops over time

How many times can the needle be used? Is it only 4 times for a month or can there be more than 4 doses (6 or 7) in one needle?

The box comes with 4 needles only. Each needle can be used once. Normally if full dose (full dial) taken each week then the pen will finish in 4 weeks with 4 doses (1 dose per week) Exception is 0.25mg ozempic pen which has 4 additional doses left (please see my other video about this on 0.25mg ozempic pen and how to keep using it beyond one month) You need to buy new 4mm size BD needles for insulin pen device which fit perfectly (see my video on needle attachment)

All needles must be disposed off in sharps bin and as per the local area regulations of council. Check your local regulations. You may get them collectively disposed in hospital waste and speak to local hospitals

@@Endo-Diabetes-Simplified from zero, count 18 clicks as you dial up the amount. when you get to 18, mark it with a permanent marker for next time. 17 or 18 should equal 0.25, your only problem will be that in a 0.5 pen, you will run out of needles. my doctor gave me a few extra needles

I thought you needed to prime it first if it's a brandnew pen? The other videos say this.

Yes basically that is test dose air shot or priming. It is good practice to do it at least for the first time to ensure the pen device is functional to see a drop coming.
