@@SeragiAli it was, but now it’s been added to the base game. If you have the update installed that was released 2 days ago then you will have this creature and the Xiphactinus in your game. I got a video on that creature as well if you’re interested.

Yeah of course. It took me forever too. I spent 90 minutes looking, couldn’t find one, then Dino wiped. Still none. Then started a new world and after 30 minutes found my 1st 😂

Yes he does. That’s why he would be great in boss fights.

@@nickbonifanti3849 it’s just his basic attacks. after he hits the same enemy so many times they explode with blood. That explosion heals whatever tamed Dino’s are nearby.

5 minutes? The ceratosaurus has been in ASA since basically the start through the mod. The taming process is the same and the abilities are basically the same as they were before. The only main difference is that its spawn locations on the island have changed drastically and they are now apart of the base game and have been introduced to scorched earth as well. If there is something you see in the guide you believe to be wrong or you believe I left out then I would certainly like that feedback so I can look to critique my format of guides going forward. Also I don’t know if you’ve watched any of the other guides out there covering this creature. After I posted this video I watched 5 other guides covering this topic to see how others approached it. I would rate my guide above 3 of the 5 that I watched. There was 2 others that were really good stand out guides that just made the video smoother than mine and had great transitions and details with supporting video. I have definitely taken some notes and tips from the way they delivered an excellent guide. Please let me know if you direct & specific feedback. I would be happy to look at improving an opportunity that is pointed out to me.

@ChaosBearGaming this kid wrote a book? ..not reading that. Lol I've been playing for years. This is the first time it's in the game. Consoles never had mods until recently.. Soooo yeah... 5 minutes.. You just used the console GMSummon command and recorded 5minutes of dialog. You probably put more work into the speech I just skipped over.. I bet if I go look at any other video on the subject, it was here before yours, and you just repeat everything they said in their versions.. You've probably seen them all, huh? Real tough...

@@Defooriginal kid… I am a grown married man with 4 kids and a full time job lol. You can find guides on these creatures in ASA dating back to 6 months ago because they were released around when ASA was released. Both Xbox and PlayStation have had these creatures as a mod ever since ASA started. I am sorry you didn’t know about them being around. But yes they’ve been available for a bit now. Everyone made a new guide on them. Not because they’ve changed much, but because they are officially a part of the game now. Also as a note, the GM command is not out yet for the creatures (at least no one has figured it out). There was a command for the creatures when they were apart of the mod, However those commands no longer work. There of course will be a command that is discovered and then can be used to spawn in these creatures, but as of now that’s not possible. I hope you can find peace in what you’re looking for. You’re looking for a quarrel, and I am sorry to disappoint you, but you will not get that from me. Being a responsible adult, and fatherhood has gifted me with endless patience.
