im 14 and i really wanna become a tattoo artist not for the cash but to express my creativity and use my talent on others. first im gonna start off with doing henna, since its not permanent but when i get older i hope to start practicing on the holy orange
Tattoo pain isn't really much when it's over and you have amazing art on you forever. I personally don't feel it when I get tattooed. I'm very lucky, I have friends that have to go to multiple sessions to get something they could do in one.
@@troubled_envy I only have one tattoo (for now) and it was fifty times less painful than I thought it would be. Like, it only hurts in the pinpoint tiny spot where the needle is, and the machine makes that whole area vibrate gently so the painful stimulus is like one percent of the total sensory information Granted, it wasn't anything that has to be filled in (lettering), my artist was super gentle, and I have sensory issues, but it actually felt kinda nice
I honestly laugh at artist who offer $$$ Tapout sessions, I’m like are you sure cause I’ll fall asleep on you and leave you sitting in that chair tatting all night and day. Don’t get me wrong a artist can certainly make you tapout just by running that needle harder and deeper or with no ink over areas they’ve already finished. Lol. Me personally I’ve always told my artist to take the needle as deep as he can because I’m a electrician so I work in all types of environments and situations so I don’t have the luxury of being able to fully keep my tatt oiled up or out the sun. This way my tatts won’t fade. Don’t get me wrong I definitely take care of them some more then others. But in my opinion getting a tatt kinda feels hot. The needle won’t bother you but the heat is what I tend to only feel
I really like how you explain things with your hands while you speak ! Helps Visual learners also learn as well god job explaining like how to treat the skin
I’m starting as a 15 year old tattoo artist, this is very helpful , this is really gonna help me learn more and work up to practice more on becoming a tattoo artist in the world!
Anyone else watching this after Ink Master and wondering how some of the people made this look so hard? Maybe they should have apprenticed under this guy.
It is a lot harder than it seems. I do tattooing (albeit on fake skin and I’m still a beginner). It really depends on the machine you’re using and what you’re trying to do. Along with what techniques you use and the styles you’re used to. Though, there are a lot of bad artists and bad people on Ink Master. They also probably wanted the drama and stress of them “”struggling”” to tattoo. I don’t really watch Ink Master because I would prefer a more peaceful and calm tattooing contest show.
It’s crazy how I learned so much by watching this and since I already know how to draw and shade so this was very helpful for when I pick up a tattoo pen and start practicing 🖤❤️❤️
I been following you for years now great artist 💯🐐 I started tattooing in 2013 and I noticed between being self taught and picking up things from the guys in the shop in my city your videos are gonna change the game for the better
honestly this really helps so much man!!! i’m getting to the age where all anyone wants to talk about at school is “what do you want to do when you graduate” and every time i saw tattoo artist they give me a look of disappointment and no matter what i can’t just seem to find anything that would help me at all to really figure it out, i’ve just kinda been stuck because i didn’t understand a n y t h i n g T^T i just had big dreams and a pintrest board lol but ive been binge watching your videos and holy crap man they’re helping explain things so much! and the way you show it instead of just saying it is literally so helpful you have no idea- so seriously thank you so much- now i’m off to design dumb flower tattoos! :D
Oh god please tell me you did it sanitarily and used a proper tattoo machine, not one off Amazon Tattooing yourself is very dangerous, you could get horrible tattoo infections that could even lead to death
want to say please keep doing your teachings cant understand most people but you seem to be on a good level of understanding when your talking ..waiting on the next chapter
Im trying to become a Tattoo Artist myself and gotta say dude, your videos are so helpful🙌 Keep it up man, i look forward to seeing more of your content😊
I’ve been drawing my whole life and been practicing tattoos on my family I love it so far I hope I can be a big tattoo artist soon thanks for the help!
Very informative info bro. Appreciate those tips. I’m looking to get into tattoo. Currently looking for a nice kit to buy so I can practice more on the technique.
Wow! This is so informative and interesting. I've been wanting to get a tattoo for a while now, so I've been doing a bunch of research. But I'm also interested in knowing how tattooing works and maybe becoming a tattoo artist. You mention voltage in a couple of your videos, how does the voltage play into the tattoing process?
I've done a lot of pencil charcoal and a bit of paint art.. I have designed tattoos but never picked up a gun. I think I will watch these videos to get me started
Im so thankful."take your time practice be patient dont ruin tour name perfect the orange"thanks for the business tips also.thats heroic what you do sir, passing your lessons or mistakes for free,we are grateful.bless you
I just started with a dragon pen on ebay and its very easy to use and did 4 for 4 perfect tats so far and practiced on fruit for a week but its worth the training
I don't tattoo but had a friend who went on to do that. But I just find this a very professional explanation. I'm probably 100% wrong but seems good to me. Keep up the great work man!
After watching this video, seeing that an orange would be great practice because tattooing is definitely something I love to fall into and the orange is real good ide to try on
Clients love watching videos like this while getting tattooed cause someone (me) with high social anxiety i wear headphones so content like this helps answer Little questions they may have that some of us artists find annoying or in our eyes "common sense" lol
I’m from Miami Florida. I’ve seen this guy tattoo for 10+ years. When I say he’s the greatest from the city. I really mean that. I’m not surprised his RU-vid channel blew up too
I don't practice on other people but it's fun to make a few mistakes on myself idk lol, thanks for the advice and tips tho I'm gonna go buy a bunch of oranges rn
I learned basic line work and started doing shit on myself. I have two tattoos and they’re kinda small but I’m proud of myself. Weed leaf was both simple and all line work so I did that and went a little harder next time and did a pistol with basic detail and depth
I'm not even a tatoo master, but the video is interesting and lokey satisfying, i imagine how someone is learning, trying to do it right again and again, trying to make a dream come true or whatever
Hey bro, so glad I came across your channel!! I subbed and put alarm on. I have been graff artist for over twenty years and tried to get an apprenticeship around me. Checked over a dozen shops, but nothing. I am going to start myself and like the mast pro machine you use. Is that the pen? And you mentioned it was cheap but the cartridges are crazy expensive. Am I looking wrong? Thank you for your vids!🤙
