How did EHow go from Victoria Stillwell to this guy? 'Certified dog trainer' Great, now we know you bought a certificate literally anywhere that has 'dog trainer' on it. Seriously, Why manhandle your dog by his collar or by pushing him around, when you could get him to actually use his brain to figure out how to get a toy or treat? All you are teaching him here (at least at first) is how to be manoeuvred into various movements or positions - probably actually slower than just holding a treat in your fist and waiting! And I don't see any reward for the dog when he does it right, other than you letting go of a very thin collar that's pressing into his neck! With daily treatment like that, the dog could be a wheezing, coughing wreck in a few years.
