Thanks for this instructional video on teaching your bird how to plat basketball. I just saw your instructional video on teaching your bird how to play fetch. I really like the way you presented this in small steps. I have a 16 years of age cockatiel named Chipper. He likes to pose for photos and talk--sometimes on the phone and when there's a video camera on him. Most recently, he learned how to give "beaky kisses" so maybe he's not too old to learn something new. Thanks again!

i was trying to train my bird to fetch and my brother saw and he jumps and scared my bird i was feeding my bird a treat at the time so now he always goes insane when my brother is around and all my brother does is laugh and say “keep training him!”

Hi, I just watched one of your videos and you seemed very professional about this and I was wondering if you could answer this because i can’t find an answer anywhere about it. I live in a family of 4 where my conure like me and my mum but dislikes my sister and dad. But whenever he sees me walk into the room he is in he beguine to headbop quite frequently and I’m not sure wether I should be concerned or not. I’m guessing it’s a good thing but I thought I should try and reach out to you just in case it’s something I should get him checked up on. Love the content and have a great rest of your day!

My green cheek doesn't like flying and I'm trying to flight train him. It's so difficult because he flies just not to my hand. Usually to the floor because he Hops off things and floats to the floor.

Hey, Found your videos quite interesting, I've gone through all of your videos its utterly informative. I've visited local pet stores to buy Green cheek conure, but nothing seems like your bird, Now I doubt whether its pure Green Cheek Conure or Turquoise Blue Green Cheek Conure or Cross of both? Because your bird had some blueish green and its glowing very beautifully. I don't know whether its because of your camera lighting! But in reality I don't see any glittery effect on Green Cheek Conure. Please clarify this... Thank you....

@Flying Fids - I've had my budgie for 7 weeks now and he still really doesn't know how to play (sigh). He's really young and is afraid of the toys (and a lot of other things) which I'm working on. I've been "trying" to demonstrate playing for him, but he's still not doing very much. He did just start jumping all around the inside of his new cage (he seems to love his new cage) and he'll flap his wings like mad sometimes, but he just doesn't do a whole lot other than eat. I'd love to know how to speed up this process. I'm dying for him to start interacting with me more. He hates coming out of his cage (his little safe place, obviously). I'm sure I'm making mistakes galore, but I'm trying not to. He's clipped too because the pet store clips all of the birds :(. I don't think that's helping any.

I think the easiest way to have a bird to do all the tricks you been teaching is....Can I have your bird instead of I training mine :P
