I went to my DMV in Ga. With my bill of sale to get value of the truck. So I could apply for a bonded title. But the vin# came back with a etr image hold from a dealer ship in Florida. They wouldn’t tell me what dealership and that a bonded title wouldn’t work. And the person that I got the truck from is mia. All I have is his first and last name and a disconnect phone number. Any advice would help. Thanks.
I bought a car from authorized BMW dealer in Toronto, The Carfax they shared was showing a lien but the sales person mentioned their legally not allowed even to sell the car with lean. And so far they didn't shared any lien release information. Would there be a lien?

Looking to get a car. Autcheck says two months ago a duplicate title has been issued with "(lien reported)". It also says the same day the registration was renewed out of California. Now I'm assuming that means he was able to order a duplicate title that shows there's a lien. I am going to see the car today. If he says the lien is paid off. How do I verify that. I'm assuming he is going to give me the duplicate title. Will it say duplicate on it?

What if I had brought a car with out a liens. I park a car at a place that has monthly parking that I had paid online. I return from work about 3 weeks later just to find out that my vehicle was towed. Then I call law enforcement then they give me the information of the company in tow, then the guy tries to sale me my car back for 2,000… The police gets the owner of the lot on the phone just to find out that they made a huge mistake, so the owner of the lot pays the man for car to get out of the impound.. this was 05/14/2023… today, I read my mails and it says that someone mailed a pending lien on 05/15/2023 for my vehicle the following day and the auction is due 06/15/2023..

Oh ok so I might be buying a car from my neighbor and the car was registered in Florida and my friend doesn't know if the car has a lien and the car has a salvage title but the car was repaired but he has no communication with the owner and he wants me to find out if the car has a lien on it or not I'm in NJ so like you said I should go to DMV and apply for a new title and they might tell me if it does have a lien on it so if it doesn't I should be able to register it with a salvage title yes thank you
