Thank you for video. For general knowledge.... On my Bosch Nexxt 300 series WFMC2201UC, the specifications from the repair manual are as follows. Measure resistance all parts disconnected. Heater 13.7 - 15.2 ohms NTC 22.8 - 27.4 kilo ohms @68 degrees F. Water inlet valves 2.7 - 4.5 kilo ohms. Drain pump 140 - 200 ohms. Hope this helps some people with their repairs.
Our Hotpoint 8kg Invertermotor w/machine constantly turned itself off and on throughout any setting except a cool wash, the original thermistor was W11203650 20K (it measured 21K), I replaced it with a W11203652 20K (it measured 19K) this also has a smaller end compared to the original thermistor, but now the washing machine works perfectly. Thanks for your help 👍
Must say, My dishwasher wasnt heating. Tested the element and it was reading about 24 ..... Tested the thermostat as in this vid - its the type thats about 4 mins into this clip - and didnt get a reading on one side so thought it must be faulty.....ordered a replacement and the new one was the same. YET.....fitted it and bingo, the water heated up..so may be - just fit a new one anyway if the element has continuity before attempting further dismantling
in a real life scenario, aprox. how fast will let's say a NTC 5d-20 change from initial resistance to final resistance with 2A as final current in a current limiter configuration? Seconds, milliseconds? Minutes?
