Great job!. That was really a great lesson. I have a Venom 125cc Mini Jeep tao tao engine which had the same issue. I will be fixing mine soon thanks to your awesome video.. I had the same click sound and I replaced the starter replay but it was not the issue. Thank you so very much for helping me fix mine too. By the way I admire how you taught your son. Thanks for posting this- I had the same issue. I couldn't get our Tao Tao 125 to fire up and this helped me to troubleshoot the starter. I'm waiting for the new one to come in right now and wanted to say thanks for the vid.
Without this video would have been totally lost thank you so much can’t thank u more but instead I have a cool step 3125r 125cc doesn’t click anymore when I try to start it and the beat terry was good thankkkkkss!!!!😭😎
Thanks. I may add, make sure starter goes back in the same orientation. it can fit and look right, then you have to do it all over again :) found this out myself.
@@janzenhollenbeck7475 bolt position, the starter fits but is not in the correct position, unfortunately I did not take photos at the time. (And it's been 2 years)
I have a 250cc China ATV....I "think" its a Trail Rover 250cx but have not been able to find any information about the key/ignition switch.....like how many wire/position switch is supposed to be on it......I bought it missing it. If you happen to know, please let me know. Thanks.
Mine don’t click I check the battery it’s full I check the current to see if it was going through and yes it was so my guess it’s the starter but mine don’t have a click
Milwaukee and a 6” driver extension and an 8 mm make quick work of this I just changed my sons tonight but it won’t crank just click Gonna take the housing back off in the morning hoping the chain is bound..?
Quick question, bought one yesterday 200cc , Chinese ATV, i turn the fucker on this morning , no problem, take her out, no problem, get back in the garage and....it would not turn off, key turned off and out and no fucker still kept running , tried to kill it with the button and it worked but then the starter (I assume?) was going *click *click *click) and it did so non stop until it drained the battery , i then removed battery to recharge and when placing it back in connected the + Positive first , then when i touched the negative to the battery (WITHOUT A KEY) the fucker started clicking and trying to turn on again!! it seems if the battery has power , its trying to start itself. Any suggestions anyone?
