Hi Sydney, for each ad set under testing - are you using CBO?

Hi vertex team thank you so much for such great informative videos really help a lot. Just a quick question how do you structure your campaign for an Ecom store having multiple products more than 5-6 categories ?

Hello, do you use advantage budget optimization for your core campaign, or when should you use it? Can you make a video more about that?

IF you use adv+ for a core, your testing also needs to be adv+. you can't move ads from a regular campaign to an adv+. so either do both adv+ or both regular

Great video as always (even tho the background music is a tiny bit loud and the movements of camera can make someone dizzy lol). Great strategy. I always learn a lot with Vertex! Btw, during the video, you keep switching from 200/day to 200/month, can you please clarify if it’s an account spending 200/day or at least 200/month? That aside thank you for making these videos and my goal is within a year to book a consultation call with your company! Keep up the great work 🙃

Yes sorry! I mean to say $200 / day! My bad. And yes great goal!!! Do find out services work best when you have some data behind you and some experience. Although we can help all levels :)

If you go from an ad spend of 30 per day up to 100 per day do you think it will only triple sales or does it bring sales up significantly? At 30 web sales plus 10 in a add to cart campaign, looking to increase numbers at a slower rate rather than a quick just burn. I appreciate the video, thank you.

increasing ad spend is not always linear with # of purchases. You need the creatives to support it. I recommend 15-20$ increase every 3 days. This stop it from re-entering the learning phase.

What do you think about single campaign structure 3:2:2? I followed this structure for a bit and there was 1 ad which never got spend... But later i used that creative again and it was winning. So what do you think?
@talhadagha4575

Also according to Facebook if you add new ad to adset it resets it's learning... Which tanks result... It's honestly paradoxical and i dont know how to run ads efficiently while keeping the scientific Approach

Do the evergreen ads and promo ads should be in separate campaigns? If promo ads are a limited-time offer of less than 1 week could I jump to the testing phase and run it directly?
@VertexMarketingAgency
@VertexMarketingAgency 9 месяцев назад
I prefer to keep sales and regular ads separate to not mess up the data in the future. results will be fully different and I like to analyze them individually.

Okay, thanks so much for your kind reply, but if I run promo ads for 4-7 days could I only set up core ads to run it and skip the testing ads? Or do you have a more better suggestion?@@VertexMarketingAgency

Hello Sydney, I'm planning to conduct creative testing for Facebook, but with a unique approach. I intend to first test individual pictures with no headline text or primary text, then select the top three pictures and test them with different headline text, with no primary text. I will also test primary text with no headline. The goal is to assess the performance of each picture, headline, and primary text when presented independently. Afterward, I will combine the best-performing combinations and run the ads. Have you ever tried something similar, or do you have any advice to share? Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance."

Don't know how well an image with NO copy will perform, (would be more confident with a video and no copy) but if you have budget to spend and want to do this, then go ahead! I would prefer a more user friendly approach where you test primary text and headlines that SPEAK your customer language based on your market research. You could also just add a primary text and headline option that shows NO TEXT AT ALL as one of the options. then, see if that verification gets delivered using the breakdown feature.

Is the target audience for core and testing the same? or core's audience will be more specific than the testing's audience? Could we use an ad set budget or an ad budget? Do core and testing ad sets both share the $200/daily budget?
@VertexMarketingAgency
@VertexMarketingAgency 9 месяцев назад
Yes, both the same audience and usually this is broad. it can be done in all ways, actually. I prefer for them to be either in separate campaign or ad set with it's own budget. If using CBO, then i would set minimum budget spending on each so they both get an equal chance
@lewang6912
@lewang6912 9 месяцев назад
Thanks for the clarification, for the core Ad set with a budget of at least $100 a day and a testing Ad set with a budget of at least $100 a day? And make sure all daily budgets (core+testing) are at least $200, right?@@VertexMarketingAgency

Im A/B Testing in an ad set with 3 creatives. And one performs well. When I want to test more creatives, do I put them inside that same ad set and turn off the low performance ones. Or do I create a different ad set with the winning creative duplicated into it. And then add new creative tests in there? Please explain this A/B testing in detail...?

Do you face the issue of audience overlap when you have the same audiences in two different campaigns? Thank you for your help in advance!
@VertexMarketingAgency

You may potentially face a slight audience overlap but with broad targeting, that risk is very low.

My business offers services only to seniors all over the US so the only thing I put 45-65+ in my targeting, and leave everything else broad. Would you still recommend the core & testing campaigns set up for this case?
@VertexMarketingAgency
@VertexMarketingAgency 4 месяца назад
Yes id still recommend that same set up, but I would actually remove the age targeting options. Let your creative do the targeting! Use older creators, use language tailored to older crowds etc.

No would not recommend that. create a brand page and all your products should be sold by the 1 brand/company
