For desktop users, like professional agencies that use pc and not mobile, the access to manager section is different. The standard page for PC is SUITE. To access MANAGER, you have to click on the HELP button on the bottom left page.
dude needed this! you freaking solved my problem...thanks! this stuff is sooo confusing....thanks again you got a new sub...peace from san jose california 😎✌🌴🌅
How to link a Facebook page with an Instagram business account with full control? When I go through the meta business suit, it says review your connection. That is, I could not control the Instagram Business account completely. So till today, I could not use the Shops option. Note: Both the accounts were created by others and they had just given me access.
Thanks for sharing with us your explanation of that, congratulations good job👏. I ask @Vertex Marketing... who is the best choice Something two different: Meta Business Suite VS Meta Business Manager?🙏🙏
Thank you for the helpful video! Question - if starting a new business from scratch, do you set up business manager first and then create your business FB page from there? Or do you create the FB page first?
You could do either! ahah. just make sure if you create a page manually on the front end, you double check to make sure it didnt AUTOMATICALLY create a business manager. it does that now!
Great video! I have one question, when running ads, usually my ads on business manager don't show on business suite (it's clear now that they are somehow separate) but in which one do you recommend setting up the adds?
This was so helpful! But I have one question, how do these both relate to managing admins through Facebook New Pages Experience? I added myself as an admin originally through there, and I can switch into my work page from my personal account, but now I cannot see myself listed as an admin. But I am showing up in both Business Suite and Business Manager. I'm also trying to explain all of this to my supervisor and I'm basically chasing my tail trying to figure it out!
If you add yourself as admin through business manager, you wont show up in the actual fb pages settings. thats fine! you could add youself as admin there too, but youre already admin via BM. getting accessfrom BM is like the getting the master key to all the rooms in the house. adding someone as admin to an fb page on the front end is like getting the key to one single room. hope that helps!
Hi Sydney, thanks for the video, it's really helpful! However, I still have a question. As you said, a user has access to Meta Business Suite right away when they create a business page for their business. Whereas creating a business account, which, if I understand correctly, grants you access to a business manager, is not mandatory-there is an additional button that suggests creating a business account. So my question is, why create a business account and have a Facebook Business Manager when you can use Meta Business Suite to manage content, run ads, and perform other tasks (except for tools that redirect you to Business Manager, thus requiring its setup first)?
There are many tools that are not part of business suite yet! If you are N|O|T running ads, suite can be ok. if you want to run ads you really need business manager set up fully as thats where you can verify your domain, set up conversion API, etc.
Can you help me figure out why I’m unable to update the business profile photo in business suite. I keep getting an error message no matter how I attempt to change it.
Thank you so much this was so helpful. I am still having issues setting up my FB shop. I see my pages in Business Suite, but not in Business Manager. I cannot figure out how to get them in manager...any advice? When I go to account then pages it says I don't have any pages, but I have two...and they show in suite...hardest platform ever to use. Thank you so much for your videos!!!!
in business manager under pages, just add your page. press the bug blue add button! suite and manager dont always sync up so you have to add it manually
Found out that some unknown business account/portfolio took control of my Facebook page. However , I am still the only admin of my Facebook page but when i move cursor over that unknown portfolio, it says that this portfolio can give control of page to anyone or even delete the page. In order to remove my Facebook page from that unknown portfolio, I am required to send a request to them. It is crazy that the owner of the page is on the unsafe side. I don't know how that unknown portfolio started to show up and even removed my page from my know Business portfolios. Is there a way to get out of this? Also, can a business portfolio really delete the Facebook page, which is owned by someone else.?
As someone who has organizational OCD this has saved me a nights sleep 😂 However is there any reason why some accounts are not eligible to be verified?
Doesnt say exactly why, but I've seen that if youve never run ads, or dont have a proper BM set up, then fb doesnt grant you permission to verify. it like nah youre not serious enough yet. my guess!
Hey Sydney, thank you for the informative video. However, I have got I question: In 6:53 you say, that my Business Suite account should have a Two Factor Authentication. I tried to set this up and now have the issue, that a get following error everytime I try to log in to Business Suite with any of my devices: "You cannot make this change at the moment The reason for this is that you are using a device that you do not normally use and we need to protect your account. If you have been using this device for a while, you will be able to make the change." Do you know a fix to this problem? It´s really frustrating.
that seems odd.. when you log in through an unrecognized device you should get a code that you need to input. can you log in on ANY device? then go check your 2FA settings. But yes, when you log in on another device it SHOULD tell you to input a code. thats the poin
This video made me understand how things work A LOT! But I have a problem. I have been running ads in Business Suit, but when I go to Ads Manager, I don't see the ads that have run in the past.
@@VertexMarketingAgency the ad account is the same in ads manager and Suit. Now I'm not sure what I just did, but all the ads just appeared in the ads manager. Thank you!
Seems like they're making this more and more confusing on purpose. Are the URLs the same for the B.Manager and B.Suite? I end up in the Suite, and can't figure out how to go to the B.Manager.
Business manager and portfolio are the same thing :) it's possible you cannot if you have reached the maximum number of portfolio/managers for your account. most people are only allowed to create 1 when they start.
I asked on one of your other videos but really trying to see if anyone has an answer because I'm struggling. What do you do if when your client logs in, they don't have a "people" "invite people" or a "partners" button? They are the only people with access to the account and they have full admin access. How the heck can they add me on as a social media manager to manage and post on their accounts? 😫😫😬😬
the reason you cannot see "people" seetings is because you do not have admin access to the business manager. you may have partial access to the business manager, but not FULL access. in order to post on social media, you only need task access to the fb and instagram page.
@@VertexMarketingAgency thank you so much for the response! So this is happening when the client is logging in and under their own account. They are the admin and the only person with access to the account (I could see when they were clicking around and they're definitely the only person with access). That's why it just doesn't make sense! Even when I have them search in the search bar for "people", "invite people" or "partner", nothing comes up. I called Meta's help center call line and the man who answered told me it would be $189 to have them look into it. I said "is this something other people are experiencing?" he just hung up on me. UGH.
I'm one of those people facing issues with my business suite and manager. It states I have different name owners but i only have one account, and when I try to add my page, it says it's owned by another business. It's all very confusing and frustrating.
I understand the frustration! If you're looking for help, contact me here: vertexmarketingagency.com/contact-us/ Often these types of situations need Meta support to help.
It creates a new account ID for everything -- PS I only have the one business under the business info tab.... Ad account I created a new one -- account owner (my business) and it created a different ID Instagram setting is the same -- its showing my business but different ID... Annnd same with pixels -- I can only add my personal name then it comes up with "Owned by (Business name) then a totally new ID --
Maybe out of context. But i need to understand if there is a difference between meta business suite and IG professional dashboard. I can see that meta business suite for instagram does not give the same insight as professional dashboard. Is there a way you can make a video explaning that.
IG professional dashboard would be just go Instagram. A lot of creators or small businesses ONLY have an instagram account and they set their IG account type to "creator" or "entrepreneur" and get accces to more features and insights that a personal profile does not. So IG pro dashboard is the backend insights for Instagram only. Meta Suite is the back end dashboard for BOTH IG and and Facebook. When you connect your FB page to an instagram account, you can manage both in suite. Hope that helps!
