I totally just replaced the left wheel on my deebot. Thank you for your excellent tutorial. Did I have a screw leftover that I don't know where it goes? Yes, yes I do. But my deebot is fixed and no longer travelling in circles like a dog chasing its tail. Thank you 🙏
Very thankful for your video. I followed your video and replaced one wheel on my Ecovacs Ozmo T8. However, during the process of putting it back together, 2 identical springs (4 mmOD x 5mm) accidentally dropped out. I couldn't figure out where they came from so I couldn't put them back. Now when I try to put the vacuum back in service, I get the message that the anti-drop covered with dust. what did i do wrong? Please help!
Hi I have a question, the right wheel wasn't working i mean it was rotating clockwise, which i fix with your instruction using WD spray, now its start moving however after 2-3 minutes the deebot goes crazy moving fast hitting everywhere rotating fast, after rotating manually the wheel it starts moving with no issues for 2-3 minutes and then shows the same issue again, what might be the problem, do i need to replace the wheel. Thanks
Thanks a lot for the great video! My X1 Omni won’t return to the station as it backs up more to one side. I turned it upside down like you said and I found the resistance between two sides are very minimal. Should I replace the wheels or there’s anywhere I should check? I’ve only used it sparingly for 15 months. Thanks!
Good tutorial! I replaced both wheels. But in the first clean robot stopped during the process and is not showing as online. Is it possible to give it to you for service or how to get in touch with you?
Hello, I had issues with my deebot 950 - spinning around all the time. So I checked wheel and it was burnt as you mentioned in video. I replaced wrong wheel and robot is doing well in begining of cleaning, cause Issue still persist after one cycle of cleaning. Replaced wheel is once again stucked. I noticed that off / on always help. Wheel is released and moving normally. But I do not want to do it after each cleaning. Can you help me?
Where can I find a motor assembly for a deebot ozmo t8+? I followed your steps and was able to clean the motor assembly which was very dirty, I also cleaned all the gears and reapplied silicon grease. After putting back i can hear the sound of the motor turning but the gear is not totally in contact with the next gear making a high frequency clicking sound.
@ecovacstechnicalsupport5278 thanks for this detailed tutorial. I've successfully changed the wheel, and the vacuum is working fine for a little, and then the wheel is stuck again (hard to rotate). I turn it off and on, and then it is working fine again, for few minutes, and then it repeats itself. It seem like I have a bigger issue. What could it be? Is there other component that controls the wheel that might be defective? I would appreciate your help
Hi, We're very thankful for your videos. We've just replaced the wheels on our ozmo 950 and still getting 'driving wheel malfunction' error. Our front bumper appears to be sticking on the right hand side. Could this be contributing to the error as the device is pushing up against furniture when it errors. Appreciate any advice.
Had the same problem! Because it was predominantly moving in a right circular motion, I replaced the R wheel drive (this was suggested in Ecovacs service videos on RU-vid). This did not solve the problem however. I then checked the L wheel drive and found one of the two wires leading to the wheel revolution sensor on the L wheel drive had broken. This was resoldered and solved the erratic motion and 'check wheel drive' error. Hope this helps someone.
thanks a lot of the video! I managed to open my deebot ozmo 950, but can't put the new wheel back to make it " jumping", could you please suggest how to do it on ozmo 950 model specifically? it is quite different from the one you show? and my be also how to open another wheel? it also looks quite different, at lest on 950. Thanks in advance!
can someone help me? i while turning it upside down, a small part just fell out of the robot. (t8), it is around a centimeter big and has two square holes in it. it says A4 on the part. i just cant figure out where this part belongs... help :D
Great video, but is there any way to change only the motor? I have soldering skills, but I can't find the same motor anywhere. Do you know any compatible motor for the wheel (do you know voltage and rpm)? Here in my country a complete wheel cost almost half the price of the robot! 😢
Just remove the motor..all details printed outside the motor assembly... motor same is quite difficult..but Carbon brush u can try to replace... hopefully will fix the issue...
