Great video. I just bought a Betts 5' net and am looking forward to using it on my yak. I got a 14' Jackson Cuda I've had since 2012 and fish skinny water in the Mosquito Lagoon. I love the yak, but I'm getting older and it is pretty heavy. I got bad knees and could never get the hang of standing up so I bought a set of outriggers which work really well. They slow me down a little, but I got Scotty's quick disconnect rod holder bases so I just use the outriggers once I get where I want to fish, but take them off for getting from point A to B. This is a great idea for a video series. I really don’t think there’s ever been a series on a breakdown of how to get the bait. You should consider continuing this throughout the different seasons of the year. Meaning what bait you get in summer vs winter, and more importantly, where you should look for the bait. Since bait seasonally moves around. Sigh, just two more weeks, till I get to go back to Florida for a whole month of nonstop fishing. !!!!

Great kayak/castnet tutorial video per usual Steve!!! I hope you anchor up current from the bridge and fish the pylons with the deep troughs same way you do from the bridges. That way you can access more of the virgin areas on the bridges that are not accessible from land. If I had a kayak like you, and it was a bad weather day I'd launch at 7 Mile Bridge ramp, and go crazy fishing all those areas on the old bridge that have never seen a pinfish with a hook pierced nose or behind and crush those big mangroves. There are parts on the 7MB that are over 25' deep. Sounds like grouper time to me. Hey a guy can dream right..... but you can actually do it. Keeping on the reeel....

oh nice.. gota try this off my kayak.. cant wait to see how to search for bait on the next video.. thats usually my problem.. i spend a good time last Sunday trying to look for new bait spots around key Largo.. found nothing
