Thanks Joey! The code is still good for 10% off, just used it to buy their new lightweight flats net that is supposed to stay cleaner and less fatigue... 8ft x 1/4in x 0.8lb. Been throwing a Morada 10ft x 3/8 x 1.3lb and it gets super dirty and tangled in shallow water and too many head pinchers mixed in. Takes forever to clean, reset, throw... wears me out. Will keep it on the boat for bigger bait over clean bottom.

I’ve found the triple load to be my easiest way to throw a cast net effectively. I usually throw a 10’ deep hole and a 10’ x 1.50 lb per foot net and this is the method for those heavy nets. I do have an 8’ barracuda net I’d like to start using with the triple load method as well.

This should be good for you. It uses the momentum from the net and doesn't put a lot of stress on your muscles.

Hey Joey, just curious what you would recommend for most of the bait your getting especially here on the East coast and in and around the inlet, 3/8" or 1/2" mesh and also do you recommend the pro series over the inshore series on those cuda nets?

Great tutorial. It’s interesting, everyone else who posts about this load recommends putting the net in your left hand if you’re a righty.... but I could never throw it that way for some reason. I saw yours and tried it in my right hand if it works way better. Weird

I don't usually use my 10 ft. I like the 8 foot because it's lighter and smaller. If I need a bigger net for whatever reason I just bump up to the 12 or 14.

There is no easier way when it comes to throwing a heavy net and not wearing yourself out. If I'm going to be throwing a lot I'm wearing the correct gear where I won't get wet. If you're going for recreational purposes you should be able to get it in one throw with the right net.

@@JoeyAntonelli I totally agree that there is no way to avoid wearing yourself out. I am not a young man and my 10' is a work out, even with an "easier way" to get it ready (dry or wet) ;-)
