If you are a learner Potter then you need to start off making very small , very simple pots before moving on to bigger pieces.
Once you get the hang of the simple small pieces then move on to larger ones when you feel more confident.
Don't just try to make a huge pot when you first start as inevitably you will become disappointed when you fail.
