With this video, learn how to tie a tie step by step with detailed expert instructions on the Full Windsor necktie knot. The Full Windsor is a more formal knot but it is great for parties and Halloween costumes (like Harry Potter).

Thank you. That was the clearest tie instruction video I've come across so far. For the inexperienced: I get that frustrating feeling too when I can't figure it out, but it's best to not let the emotions of unsuccessful attempts get in the way of future attempts. Be calm like the guy in this video. The secret is that this sort of attitude can be used to approach virtually any situation, not just tying ties. Just stick with one video that works for you and stay calm. Breathe.

thank you so much, i only had the one tie for a few years there and my mother (bless her soul) tied it for me on my wedding day. sadly when the time came for her funeral i wore the same tie and its a bright yellow, not very appropriate funeral attire. so i went out and bought me a whole heap of ties. no idea how to tie one, so finding this video is a good thing. thanks :D

The first knot I ever learned (over 5 decades ago) and still my favorite except with very fat or thick ties. And thanks to your videos, I am now (in my advanced years) learning to tie a bowtie and a Trinity Knot! Thanks for an excellent selection of videos!

I started to tie a tie at the age of 19teen...but it was hard at first, but you have to keep trying...and it will work for you. Today I watched the video because I forgot how to do the process...but it is relatively easy when watching it again...I just re-watch it and I started to remember how to tie it.

One reason people have difficulty learning such a simple thing is that often there is an attitude of condescension or impatience on the part of the person who is claiming to be the teacher. Yeah I got it after a few tries... I don't understand how anyone could ever do this by memory though... I'm soo dyslexic when it comes to things like this. And it sucks, because I'm a singer, and have to perform about once a week, requiring me to wear ties ALL THE TIME. I usually just get my friends to tie my tie for me, and never untie it. Hahah. How do people learn this without a video such as this one? Absolutely crazy... Lol

You are absolutely amazing. In every single way. While I was watching what you were doing, I was thinking to myself, "this guys is nuts, and has no idea what he's doing." Next thing I know, I look down at my tie, and its even nicer than what I see in the video! Thankyou so much! I'm a single mama, and actually made my paper towels on a paper towel holder my "practice neck" so I didn't drive my thirteen-year-old son crazy lol...it makes a perfect practice neck as a tip for people if you want! I have an interview for a job tomorrow, but nobody that I know seems to know how to tie a tie. I went to you tube and click on your channel. I was so glad that I did. I tie my tie follow your instruction. I just need to practice so that i can remember it. But at least I am ready for my interview tomorrow . Thank you very much for such easy instruction.
