By far, this is the most efficient and effective method of tying this wrap. I've applied all your other styles with good results. But I really like this method. Thanks for sharing your art and skills.
Thankyou so much, my sons (9) lashing just came undone and he was devastated, took me several attempts but I managed to fix it from watching your video. Best mum ever now 😊
Thanks for sharing! I knew on the one video you did. That this new technique would be great. I have had issues (like you mentioned), with the whipping knot coming undone. Once again, thanks for sharing your experiences with your community!
Kia ora! And I have a question.. Many years ago I was given a Koru made from the bone of the Moa and I'm very happy to see your videos as the neck cord broke some time ago and I hope to replace it myself. My question is that the bone seems to be 'drying out' and I would like to know if there is anything I can do to to restore it?
Hi, I have not got any experience with bone sorry, I imagine that wearing it would give it oils from your body similar to pounamu to keep its lustre? Sorry I'm not sure about bone.
Kia ora, just done a lashing as per yr instructions. Came out mean. I do yr braiding and slip nots etc as well for the taonga i make.. ngā mihi nui ehoa.
