If it is warm in the house, I'll swaddle him with either just a short sleeve onsie or no clothes at all and just a diaper, and that seems to help prevent the overheating.
This video is amazing I wanted to swaddle my first baby…tried numerous times and she always got out within 30 seconds. Tried this last night with my newborn and she almost slept through I had to wake her up to change her nappy and dream feed to sleep but once swaddled again she went straight back to sleep! Thank you for this I finally managed to get some rest and wasn’t woken up every hour. From one very tired mama xx
