People complain shout the dumbest sht just turn the volume down if the music is bothering you. It’s not by force that you have to listen to it.

I guess the silicon will stop the wall moving when set, to be honest it's a great vid for those doing their own home and have the time but a tradesman would be bankrupt following this. Yes, I know the wall moving is because it's an illustration vid, but if someone has dot and dabbed their own wall and it does this they will think it's normal.

All internal corners will require a gap (thickness of tile) to allow for expansion. A silicone sealant must be used in all internal corners and not grouted. When fixing any brick affect design, it's always best to apply (trowel) the adhesive to the wall and not dot and dab the tiles. In small, isolated areas such has cuts and when following more than one set out line, the adhesive can be applied using a trowel to the back of the tile.

Sorry but you definitely need to speak during these type of videos. It makes hard to read and take it all whilst looking at what you are doing. I'm trying to get loads of information on starting a subway tile job. Stressed.

Thanks for your question. Whilst technically speaking you could use a 1mm spacer, you will find it difficult to compact the joints with such limited space. Design is of course down to personal preference, but we would suggest a 2 - 3mm spacer which is the norm when installing a metro tile.
