Just came across your channel. Amazing content. Working with my 15 week standard poodle puppy. I can see your videos will be a go to. Thank you.

Just came upon your channel - loved your detailed information. This is super awesome. Some of this I "knew" but had some missteps in there bc I didn't get the full nuance. The touch while playing tug is an example. Thank you for sharing!

I have been a long-time viewer of Cesar Millan and I find his method and philosophy generally effective as proven especially by his live acts. I feel that yours is somewhat different though I'm not sure exactly how. Care to give your takes on his methods?

Hey hey hey! Welcome to the channel. There are a few differences, yes. And you're observant to see them without me explicitly stating them. The root of those differences really comes down to understanding the neurobiology and ethology of the dog. When we understand the science of dog behavior, we spend more time focusing on their internal experience than just their external behavior. This whole channel is dedicated to taking a more scientific approach to dog training.

My dog is a nut case i can get her so revved up she sounds like a pack of hyenas fighting each other and when she gets a little too bitey in that state i can chill her out i do the pause then i just talk in a bit of a relaxed tone then go back in a little less excited and she is perfect.

I have a few jackets I let her bite on my sleeves for playing coz she likes to bite and wrestle so sometimes she bites my arm but is so gentle even in mega psycho states. Blue heeler if you were curious .

You don’t actually train dogs, you only Tell people what to do, but you don’t show your own work.
