Very true. I experienced this with my mother. In the few months before she shed her body, she taught me priceless lessons with her silence. She was otherwise a very voluble person as I knew her to be in the decades that I lived with her. I truly believe, in the last one year of her life, when she suffered a physical ailment, spiritual discipline which included chanting the Lord’s name, magically transformed her into a person that exuded an almost divine silence; she was literally witnessing everything & everyone around her, smiling, sometimes stoic silence, sometimes silence pregnant with loving messages. And these silent teachings are far more impact full.

Today I tried listening to the silence in the gaps. The gaps between notes in bird sounds, the gaps between water drops, passing vehicles. It made the sounds stand out. Two occasions remain in my mind as perfect peace- travelling through the eucalyptus plantations to Coonoor. There was only the quiet hum of the car and the rustle of the wind in the trees. It was peace. Standing in golden valley looking across at the forest while the river flowed over my feet and the pebbles and rocks. It is absolute bliss.

All of your questions is become a answer instead. You are able to see more . And understand everything at once. Just like a orgasme. You know when you had one 😉.. try not to think . Very true .. Consciousness and unconsciousness can effect people. To spread a higher frequency, I will Manifest the overwhelming feeling of love and joy when I'm walking down the street or around people. But really, Making loving kindness your baseline, so even when your not being super conscious, others will still feel this baseline frequency raising them to consciousness. It's like brushing against their auras and giving it a boost. People will feel the pull of love/light from withen when your their, pulling their unconscious true self forward and suddenly they feel inspired or slowly as they are around you more they notice this. Even my family flies me to wherever one is my sister or.. When they are feeling down they know they will feel better once I'm there but you need to sheild so they don't drain you. That may happen in the beginning.

Completely agree with his final statement, that there is wordless teaching and teaching with words, and both operate.indeed! I would add that even when words are used, the teaching is always silent because it always happens within you. The words cannot teach. You must go deeper and the symbols and images they evoke speak to you inwardly. That is to say, the meaning is known introspectively.

Believe it or not My first conscious experience was when I was 2 years old . At age 5 I was fully conscious of my being . It was almost like an outer body experience . Till this day I have very vivid , deep , lucid dreams .. Eckhart knows..

A question I would ask Eckhart about presence being innate in some of today's children : Aren't all children at a very early age naturally present. It seems like this faculty is drummed out of us - and then, hopefully, we rediscover this state.

They say the presence starts to leave at about 9mos to a year when the child starts to develop the Ego and knows what is mine and how to get it. This is where the presence of present parenting can help a child tremendously. But you're right, the young child has immense presence and bewilderment.

Yes, I've experienced that before - for quite a few years actually - before I was able to come back into my power of choice. To be able to make a new choice even as unconsciousness arises. It's all a practice. A getting used to. Continuous awareness keeps expanding and improving and working on your self worth helps more and more for the ability of choice to arise within:)

Definetly Nazim! There are moments l lose consiousness because the pull of thoughts is so eminent but there are also moments i can see the unconsiousness and then make a consious choice not to fall for that. Like Estela says: it's all about practice! 🌻

@@naziminterstingly2227 eckhart has a different experience. He's story is one of sudden realization and then he could continue staying in that state of awareness through choice throughout the rest of his years. He understands that not everyone has gone through it like he has. That's why he is always sharing practices to start things slow. He is also giving us many opportunities to continuously tap into our presence through his presence itself. He may not have explicitly said that practice is needed but he has definitely said that daily cultivation of even just 5 mins a day even while doing something else is the best way to start off our practice and gradually build it up over time :) there are some talks he's had where he shares practices and others where he simply shares his insights. Take your time to explore and if eckhart doesn't resonate for you. Try some one else - we will all be pulled to the ones that is most resonant for us in each aspect of our journey :)

Pretty sure the knowledge you transmit through your books and the facts that millions of people read it, are reorganising archetypes in the collective unconscious in a "good" way... In some meditations I have seen analogies "like the cross and the Christ" and it helps my energies transcend with it ... I have many exemple like this. It's totally a new world opening for all of us. It's like the collective unconscious begin to feel it's own presence and becoming conscious of its unity. Peace. Thank you for this.

I was born conscious. Brought up in a very religious family. I have gone no-contact due to all the alcoholism/addictions. Now, I am wondering if many of them were born conscious and hid it with drugs/alcohol. OOF...heavy.. Thank you for your video.

My father is very very unconscious and wen i stay with him my fight/flight adrenalin is constant and i can feel tension so thick. It's palpable. Very difficult. I am now 58 and it's been like this all my life.
