How To Love Without Losing Yourself | Eckhart Tolle Teachings 

For me and all the dark nights of the soul, since I left an unhealthy marriage 23yrs ago, I can confirm that the only love that fills the soul is unconditional love…it’s the flow of the universe. It does exist, it does not exist in the other ( although it can, if they work on their inner wounded child triggers…I often find myself in bliss and joy…took a long time to get there and you get a deep sense of “knowingness” that previously was not there…I don’t need “ another” to fulfill me…I can reach that love within me myself

Love is removing the barrier of your mind, and allowing your heart to express its true nature

Doggies are always egoless and they know how to love and how to be loved. They have the most sincere eyes and loyal face on this earth. I have never had my own doggy but still, whenever I have a chance to get in touch with doggies around my place, I can feel their kindness and love.

I love his explaination of transcend: "it doesnt mean that it excludes it or it comes to an end, it means it contains it but its much vaster"

For better or worse Eckhart changed my world. Still get lost from time to time. A lot easier now to bring myself out of thinking. Amazing how it can creep in. Love is not in the hand of others.

For me loving my self is to be compassionate with my self in every time I make a mistake and not blame my self for it,in other words I AM the consciousness being compassionate with my human self💙

You can keep watching your pain and thoughts for the rest of your life, or you can actually end your emotional backlog by accepting and letting your feelings hurt you. Then the upset feelings and and noise in your head ends. Take the situations in your past (breakups, deaths, insults, people you are angry with), one at a time accept what happened and let the feelings hurt you... I suggest making such a session every day - for some this can take a long time... But it is the real solution.... I tried Eckhart's advice for years - its only works when you don't have much emotional backlog/debt.

Here are my 10 extra tips to INCREASE your daily manifestations that I’ve learned over the years..👇🏾 1. Practice gratitude every morning. Replace your negative thoughts with positive ones. Every time you feel a negative thought coming on, make a positive spin on it right away. 3. Take ownership for things that happen in your life. It's easy to blame others however you will feel much better when you realize that most issues stem from us. 4. ALWAYS believe that good things are about to happen. By being open to new possibilities you are inviting abundance into your life. 5. Remember that like attracts like so you get back whatever you put out, whether it is good or bad. So do good AND received good. 6. Meditate for five minutes a day. During this time focus on how you want your life to be; but place your focus on how you feel AND feel that feeling as if you have already accomplished those goals. 7. Step outside of your comfort zone. Stop playing it safe and make that decision to finally go for your dreams. 8. Focus on activities that make you feel truly happy. When you are truly happy you have the best vibrational frequency to manifest your desires. 9. Avoid the naysayers and surround yourself with people who only lift you higher. Downers will be downers, don't let them drag you into their misery. 10. Don't be afraid to dream and know that you are always supported by the universe. To see yourself in others - to bond a little - compassion - to see others as souls more. So easy to judge on appearance - which is a block - to feel their presents.

Love and attachment (needing/thirsting/longing/craving/clinging) are two very different things. Love dissolves the ego and is a giving...attachment feeds the ego and is a taking.

Recognition of yourself in the other was shown in the Alchemist book by Paulo Coelho. In the updated version's preface. In the Narcissus story it was given a higher spiritual love meaning. Narcissus recognizes himself in the lake. When he dies, the lake cries because it too used to look in his eyes and recognize itself.

As there is but one All, one Now, there is but one Self and being All it can never lose Itself.

When Eckhart says 'look into the eyes of another you are the other' this is a profound notion for if this can take place there is freedom from the sensation called I, Me, Self, for there is an unguarded receiving of the other person (or animal or object). That seeing, sensing takes place from here, from where the eyes are and not on the subject, as over there.

This is exactly what I experience he explains it so well.

He explains so well! I have felt this, but I could not put it like that in words. I could say I could saw God in my lover that I had that time. It was such a different experience. But I did feel continous presence and look different at people and things. The most powerful was the experience of the relationship with him.

I love Eckhart and have watched dozens of RU-vid clips of him, but I must say that this is not his best clip. This one is meandering and hard to follow in my opinion. So if you are new to Eckhart and didn’t get much out of this video, please watch others. His philosophy is life-changing.

And what if it's through your ever-unfolding, purposeful, self-tuning journey of finding yourself, you both without coincidence tap into each other's path? Maybe all that is required is both of your self-tuned and awoken signals of recognition. Harmony starts to show signs of life and buds and blooms just like flowers know how to respond to the rain and light. But from more of a more spiritual nature instinct. And everything else physical or material slowly responds, follows, and finds its placement harmoniously. All while your freedom is still untouched, but multiplied in growth. Maybe then it becomes an ever-unfolding, nourishing, harmony-rich filled journey rather than a temporary bandaid filling. Idk.

How far are you willing to go practically if the people you love needs help? and do you stop when you find out they are just using you? where is the limits for this agape-love? Because if agape-love means to have somekind of recognition to the other, but you just sit comfortly in your couch watching netflix, thats an easy way to love?

Love is love. It is not a tool or reward. You can love anyone, if they do not love you, let them go. We certainly do not force it. Some people say liking is better than loving. Some people say you are just not my thing. We do not resent it ever. Ok does it mean bad things happen, absolutely not. Just do things with harm to none of course. Just turn around and say ok see you around take care. If someone you love goes somewhere and changes then tries to come back and manipulate you to change because they love you, let them go again.
