The only thing that is appearing to stop you from enlightenment/self-realization/eternal life/knowing yourself to be unconditional love is identification with thoughts, emotions, sensations, perceptions and experiences instead of being aware of being aware and knowing yourself to be that unconditional love pure consciousness in which all thoughts, emotions, sensations, perceptions and experiences appear but are not inherently one with you; they are an expression of unconditional love; you are that infinite that is expressing itself as suffering/pleasure but inherently you are neither; you are that nothing/unconditional love/pure consciousness in which they are appear and by which they are perceived; Suffering/pleasure comes and goes; there is an awareness that is aware of them coming and going; that you are; remember and know what you are; never identify with anything that is appearing within you; since it appears within you; it can't be you; you are that in which it appears. When you abide as that in which it appears instead of identifying; nothing has a grip on you; if anything comes; it quickly goes; like clouds passing; only if you identify as a cloud then it will appear as if the cloud is here for longer than it is originally supposed to; if you simply rest as the awareness and do not identify; it will quickly dissolve; be unconditional love by being aware of being aware; this is the highest; this is what you are seeking in absolutely everything else; you are seeking yourself; you are seeking unconditional love; but you are looking outside of yourself; instead of being aware that you already are unconditional love. @@trashcan7340 We have an almost unlimited supply of distractions with high speed nowadays and that colors people's thinking... nothing is without effect. ANd I don't think it is necessary to turn it "off" - but it benefits a spiritual practice tremendously to reduce needless verbal thinking to a degree that you can at least notice that it is happening

@@TheDhammaHub still, you didn't mark clearly what is good. It's all about "likes" someone like speed and big city noise, someone silence and piece of lonely mountains. Who's right?

By being presence and not identifying with your body. who you are is not this physical body as you age it will eventualy fade away no matter how hard you try. This body is vessel of your soul you have to keep it working and healthy there is nothing wrong to change you body until you do it it for yourself. appearance is nothing in terms of who you are. When you know you are not this body you simply accept the way you are right now, you are nothing less.just Be in the presence however form it take don't get attached by it.

Me too. I have put in lots of weight... I am getting back to the gym and eating a high omega 3 fatty acid diet.. but all while being present. I will start going slow and small... accept I am starting from scratch... it's good in a way as I am forced to be present instead of suffering in my body. Good luck (me too. My ego easily gets excited and happy 🙄🤦‍♀️ Hopefully I have learnt now 😁😊🥰💖)

Now while deeply immersed in this state I was completely entertained by many things. I now had the understanding and ability to effect music, electronics, even blowing out multiple light bulbs in fixtures. To full on undoubtedly telepathy with animals, nature, and young toddlers. All these are undeniable in my eyes. I had practiced many things in this life to my utmost appreciation goes to the expressions of Eckhart.

It gets even better though, how simple it really is. I would simply give my attention to a growing plant in the corner of the room only to witness when I was done observing it’s Beauty the small child would then observe the very leaf of the very plant I was just examining from afar I might add, but also the young pitbull whom I had been training for a month was no different, an intentive glance to the couch or chair or any part of the house or yard was no issue, I can now communicate with most things at this point silently.

It isn’t , you’re suffer because of labels me, my, others. It’s your choice to live life labelling everything and have attachments or to be free from that. When you totally stop labelling when game will start , now you’re not in the game but in the suffering.

When you stop calling it your house, will it still be your house? When you stop labeling your wife as your wife will she leave you? It's true that once you stop labeling things most of them become irrelevant. It's just like with thought. Once you realize that they are not your thoughts but just thoughts that appear before your inner eye you don't have to identify with them. That's a liberation. Then you will see what really matters.
