Milos in Greece is an island known for its beautiful beaches and volcanic landscape. It is also the island where Venus de Milo, the statue of the ancient Greek goddess Aphrodite, was discovered in 1820.

It's actually a hidden gem (or was in the sense that it is becoming more popular). Until earlier this year I knew only Greek people who knew of it. There isn't that much about it online either. This vlog is actually super helpful.

To be historically correct. The Turks owned that island along with all the islands that surround Greece. If you want beautiful views, food and people go to any coastal area in Turkiye.

You should not miss for any reason Polyaigos island that is near Milos. There are daily cruises that sail around Milos and also visit Blue Waters (Galazia Nera) at Polyaigos. You cannot find anything like this at Milos, its breathtaking! Also a day trip to Kimilos, a small island next to Milos is highly recommended ! it's very beautiful! You should definitely return some day!

As someone who went on a mini moon to Santorini a few weeks ago, I could only say I wish I listened to my Greek friends and went to Milos instead. Santorini is beautiful, but overhyped for no great reason in my view. It is too pricey and too touristy. The scenery is stunning and the wine experiences are amazing (and I don't drink much). Santorini is worth visiting once, it's just not the magic that it's advertised as.

An amazing perspective on Milos !! Your way to show the island and this gorgeous scenery ,but with lots of useful information and so much fun , literally push me to buy tickets there straight away !!
For a normal car in mainland Greece you pay 40-50 Euros per day, so judging by the car and the fact you're on an island, I think the price you paid was ok. Not that it's cheap but anyways... amazing video, the island of Milos is simply gorgeous! Have fun guys!!!

I need to say that you forgot or didnt knew some places like thiorixia ,sykia, mandrakia or the ancient theatre with the place that afrodite of milos have been found but the rest of the places you saw are amazing. Greetings from greece
