Why wouldn’t you hook it to a harness on the dog in the back of the truck instead to prevent neck injuries?

I'd definitely like to know that as well. We live in the U.S., and have a XXXL dog! Normal range crates are just too small to hold an Anatolian Shepherd.

Hi Chelsea - no stress, over here in NZ we sometimes use the word truck as Isuzu is a truck company and the D-Max is built like one :)
