Here's how I safely bring my snakes, lizards, toads, and turtles when traveling both short and long distances. Of course, this isn't an enclosure that they can stay in once at the arriving location for a very long time, but I found this is the best way to ensure they stay unharmed during the ride.
(I also feel like I should add a disclaimer that I have no idea what the regulations are when bringing reptiles on planes, trains or public transport, this is just what I do in my own car lol).
