I take my babies out all the time and live right next tot he beach. If it is warm enough outside 80F or higher, the baby will be just fine outside for a while. If it is windy, bring a blanket to wrap them in. If you are scared of them running away, put on a leash.
They don't love open sky so make sure to have a basket or box to hide near or in, prep it dragon, I did that by sitting close to the house at first like on the porch/stairway w the dragon.
