I just came out to my friends recently about being asexual, and lmaoo I can’t blame them if they responded to me that “oh, we need to cure you” and “you haven’t met the right person yet”, but I got annoyed to my other friend who keeps saying we need TO GET U CURED!! I kept saying stop formally and explaining but he did not listen and kept saying we NEE TO CURE HER! I- ._.

I don't understand why people think they have to let everyone else know their sexuality. Nobody asks me stupid questions, because I don't tell anyone that I'm ace. It's the least important aspect of who I am. It means almost nothing to me, and it shouldn't mean anything to anyone else either, because it's no one's business but mine. The only people who seem to care about everyone else's sexuality are those who insist on defining themselves with it as well. They have a compulsive need to classify and label every little thing around them. It's infuriating.

Some asexuals DO have and ENJOY sex so it's important to state that as well. Asexuality relates to not experiencing sexual attraction...it's not only related to not enjoying/having sex, although there are some asexuals that are sex repulsed (they do not engage in or desire sex). I enjoyed the video, but there are many more categories that fall under ace umbrella, we don't want to leave them out.

Asexual people need to come out because here in India arrange marriage is prevalent , imagine getting married to a asexual person, how will be possible to live without sex (in this case you being a sexual person).

Why in the name of all that is Holy would I even care? in my experience, it's family, parents and grandparents who asked the younger generation when they're getting married and having kids. It's your older relatives who want to make sure they're taken care of; it's selfish, or jealousy, because you chose a different life over spawning, but they'll use the excuse that they just care about your happiness. Anyone else who asks is just rude; it's not their business, and you are within your rights to tell them so. I'm hetero, into sex, but it doesn't matter. What you do or not do with your own body is nobody else's damn business. I chose not to breed. My reasons are my own. I'm not in a relationship right now. My reasons are my own. As it's been put, tradition is peer pressure by dead people, but World culture is changing with the availability of Information online. People the world over are discovering ways other than their own, and it's allowing us all to realize that there's no such thing as normal. We as a species are far too diverse.

As someone who is dating an asexual, this video was a great way to know some certain things. I felt some kind of unnecessary seriousness on this video. An asexual person is someone that does not feel sexual arousal, and that's it, nothing special about it. If you find a person, and start dating that person, and somewhere along the road you want to have sex with that person, and that person says: "sorry, but, i don't like sexual intercourse" or something like that, you just have to decide if you want to have a sexless relationship or not. But, i think that an asexual person should put the question of sex in the table during the first date, to avoid future lacks of understanding.
