Dr. Dan, just have to say thank you again! last year a vet wanted to charge me $1000 for antibiotics, an anti parasite, steroids,and allergy medicine, just throwing the kitchen sink at my dog for a yeast infection. which antibiotics would’ve made worse! After a little research, even I figured that out. She’s all good now thanks to your advice!! Keep making your videos, please, thank you thank you, thank you!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

It’s one week since we started the Neem 1/10 pure almond oil. Our miniature poodle is so happy, her skin is healed she’s not scratching. Today we bathed her to get all the oil out of her white fur. I washed all her bedding and blankets and dried everything in the high heat of the dryer. I’m soo grateful we have our sweet dog back, she’s no longer miserable! 💃🏻🎊🎉

One of my dogs had mites. It took a long time to get rid of it. Diatomaceous Earth was the way. If your dogs skin isnt dried out ,yet, it will. Shake the DE powder all over every part, including the legs, paws and head. Leave it on for 2 or 3 days, remove it by brushing or a bath. Repeat until they are gone. The mites dont like lemons. Squeeze a few lemons and rub the juice o n your dog.

We will be having an Neem & Grape seed oil party on the patio for every dog just in case. And I may even apply it to my head! I will let you know how it goes. I am believing for great results. I surely hope i can resolve all of this dog's issues cuz his teeth are plaqued at 7 and he is stooping way to long to poop. Had two fecal's checked but they came up negative. I know something is wrong regardless of those inaccurate fecals. I hope it's not a tapeworm in the upper GI Tract cuz he had a bad case of fleas, already treated with ivermectin so it can't be the others. I will follow up!! Thank you so much for the share. I noticed other comments of yours but only this one comes up when clicked. Great dogs! Have a great neem party, will work on you all including your head (used on daughters head lice back in school days). Leave on all afternoon, keep dogs outside. Soft shampoo to wash off and may need to re-treat a week later just to be shore all mites were killed as they do dig deep into the skin. I do have a fool-proof de-worm video solution too: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2LkzSgeOpGw.html For the teeth, start using neem bark powder: amzn.to/2ULzroL works well on plague.

@@DanScott1 I apologize I read thru other ppls questions and found my answers. So I deleted those. Thanks for being so prompt. I read that fecals can largely be inaccurate and that different vets use different methods of checking. I read just because it's negative does not mean it's negative if the dog is symptomatic. And if you gets a positive, well then that's better because you then know what you're dealing with. I heard only 20% accurate??

I knew my 4 month old puppy had mange, bald fur around eyes and a few bare patches of fur on legs, not intensely itchy. So I went to the vet. He told me it was not mange but I was just bathing dog too often (three times a month). I wasn’t going to get through to him that I have had mange in other puppies and this is the typical manifestation of demadex mange. I then came on here and found this video. I applied neem oil three times, each a week apart. It absolutely works. It probably worked the first time but because of the life cycle of mites I figured it’s best to do it for three weeks. No more itching, hair growing back. I was very nervous about putting it near his eyes but I read on here others did. Thankfully it didn’t hurt him and now he doesn’t look crazy anymore. 😂 I soaked him in this stuff. He’s 50lbs and so I used a ton of grapeseed oil 16oz mixed w 8oz of neem oil. I did a 2 to 1 ratio. After he was completely soaked I crated him for the night. I’m so thankful this worked.

Vaccs, vet drugs and commercial pet food additives dont help. Mostly proteins such as eggs, meats, sardines really help and as raw as possible so undercook. I recommend just part cooking and blending the veg for best digestion. Add a good soil based probiotic: amzn.to/3yoURqU They work best, improve digestion and health. Yes the book has all the answers: healthydogforlife.com/feed-your-dog-better-book-by-dan-scott/ You'll love the Healthier Kibble Diet.

Hi Dan! I just mixed 1 tbsp of the Neem oil you recommend with 8 tbsp of olive oil and 2 tbsp of coconut oil and rubbed all over my 6 month old English bulldog… (generalized demodex mange) I just rescued him… I’m wondering how long to leave it on? I just received the probiotics (pet ultimates) you’ve also recommended in past videos yesterday and he’s had 2 half scoops so far…have cut his kibble in half and have been adding sardines… cooked chicken n small amounts of cooked beef liver, steamed green beans n spinach sauerkraut apples wild blueberries (fruit all in small amounts)shredded carrot sometimes partially cooked eggs and some raw goats milk and 1x day a small amount of goat kefir…will slowly move to raw food … I feel so bad for him because his skin is so bad, itchy, smelly lots of hair loss… anything else I should be giving him? Anything else I should have vet test for? Like yeast? Also how long does it usually take for generalized demodex mange pups to get their fur back so I have a realistic expectation?
@DanScott1
@DanScott1 2 года назад
So you mixed at 10:1. May need a second treatment at 4:1 but wait and see. Leave on for a few hours to really soak in as the mites are deep in the skin. Your doing great. Yeast is hard to shift quickly but a diet with zero sugars and carbs will starve out the yeast over 3 months and the skin will stop itching. I'd get some soil based probiotics for this condition and use them first: amzn.to/3yoURqU then when the issues have resolved, use the ones you have now, so seal the lid and keep in the fridg/freezer. Also add some antioxidants to the meals with freeze dried greens: Green Immune + Super food - (GLM, phytoplankton, Microalgae and Spinach) healthydogforlife.com/GreenImmuneSuperfood If you can cut out the kibble all together, that would fix things even faster but there's a kibble that's only 5% carbs, the only one I know of: Ketona Kibble: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble so you can use that one and still use your current method of 50:50 dry food to fresh food. You can use eggs too, good complete protein food. Once the skin is free of mange it will takes 3 months for the hair to grow back.

My puppy is 16 weeks and the day after we got him broke out into hives and a rash on his belly. Tried everything natural but nothing worked. Had to go on antibiotics for a week...we thought he was allergic to chicken so switched to a fish based diet ... he got alot better but was still scratching and biting at his skin. Ended up taking him back in and they said possible mites and tried giving me flea and tick meds which I refused.. also gave me antibiotics again but I did not give them to him. Came across this video and have been using the neem oil .. today is the third time I've used it but it doesn't seem to be helping ... he's still scratching and biting at his fur BUT when I do the neem oil and comb it through there are all these little black specks that come out of his fur... im assuming these are mites/fleas?? He doesn't have any fur loss really or scabs, broken skin or sores .. do you think because it took about 7 weeks for us to figure out what was going on that he could just need several treatments with the neem oil as they're deep in his skin ?? He is on a pre and probiotic as well as a gut soothe product from adored beast... he is just on kibble but a very high quality one with zero additives, and all ethically sourced. Will most likely purchase your book to dive deeper but any suggestions based off of this would be appreciated!!

Your comment was held, just seeing it now. Just use the neem oil as directed for any skin mite. Sounds like mites. Several treatments with lower mix ie 2:1 and let soak in for a few hours. This could also be yeast issues on the skin from the carbs in the diet. Most kibble is 30-50% carbs. There is a low carb kibble: Ketona Kibble: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble only 5% carbs and all natural additives. To that I would still add eggs, canned sardines and part cooked and blended veggies. Also make sure the probiotic is soil based for the same reason: SBO Probiotics - amzn.to/3yoURqU And yes, a great Idea to get my ebook: healthydogforlife.com/feed-your-dog-better-book-by-dan-scott/ to get a much healthier diet going and learn more about canine nutrition. @DanScott1 Thank you for the quick response I really appreciate it. My dog is a small mini poodle 13 yrs old. She never goes out so I know she didn't get warts from outside. I'm thinking it's a poodle thing specially when they are older. She had a history of pancreatitis long time ago (not anymore), so I don't really giving her fresh foods anymore maybe jist tiny bits of cauliflower and broccoli. She is with low fat kibble for years no problem but as she age, she's having lots of itchiness, red skin irritations and continuously licking and biting her paws (slight reddish) and her legs because of itch and loses hair on the parts. On my third day of neem oil but still itching a lot. Will try to continue up to a week. I'm scared to give her meats ( just because of history of pancreatitis before) even though I really would like to and she loves meat I know. I'm wondering if I can try polysporin 1% hydrocortisone. Thank you doctor for your videos!!
@DanScott1
@DanScott1 Месяц назад
@@IamHappyHeart I know this issue well. It's basically too much carbs (inflammation), possible vaccine issues (no vaccs. recommended) and the additives in kibble being the likely culprits. It's cooked fats that cause pancreatitis issues, nothing else. It takes time to get rid of the histamines and yeast buildup that your dog has issues with, hence feet chewing, itching, redness, hair loss etc. Please dont use the hydro.. ok. Do this instead: Take out 25% of the kibble meal and replace with fresh food options such as eggs (soft boiled or raw), any meats, lightly cooked or rare, canned sardines: amzn.to/3vaXrj6 and some greens: amzn.to/49w0bKR 1/2 tsp in food once daily. This also great to lessen warts. Start at 10% for a week or so and work up to a 50% kibble:fresh food meal over the next month. In time you'll see a big difference in health quality and far less yeast and histamines, they cause the itch. She'll be pretty blocked up, hence the warts so the greens are great for circulation and the kidneys/liver/skin. The neem oil wont fix the itch but the above will over time.

Buy the neem oil: amzn.to/3iV0Igq mix 1tsp of neem oil to 5 tsp of carrier oil, olive, almond, grape seed, hemp, coconut oil all good. Mix well and slather on all affected areas. Few days later use a second application just to be sure, leave on for several hours, wash off if needed with safe mild shampoo like Castil Soap: amzn.to/3zJkF0k or Oatmeal Pet Wash: amzn.to/3CYUBjw That's it, mites gone, now look at making the diet more nutritious and fresh.

Hi Dan, I recently adopted a 4 month old shih tzu maltese mix and since first few days last month I noticed she was itching a lot so got her to the vet diagnosed with mange got her antibiotics, omega oil pills for dry skin etc, have showered and combed out dried skin but it hasn't improved much. I'm going to follow your advise. We've stopped feeding her dry food and everything containing salt. As a SE Asian with tonnes of tropical food available, we feed her plain steamed rice mixed with natural yogurt we make at home with boiled chicken or hard boiled eggs alternating sometimes with a little butter or ghee is that ok? She also loves eating raw tomatoes, cucumber, water chest nuts, carrots, fruits, potatoes.
@DanScott1
@DanScott1 10 месяцев назад
Definitely stop the white rice, makes dog itchy, bad for organs. Everything else is fine except potatoes, keep carbs low! Also start small amounts of raw egg and build up so it's all raw as there's 30% extra nutrition from raw. Mash/crush or blend the veg/fruits to digest better. Replace the carbs with more eggs, meats and canned sardines in water are good to. NO vaccinations going forward either.

I recently brought a toy poodle puppy fron the day its home its scratching like crazy and her ears flaps were not normal so cause this i consulted a vet and after they did the scrap they concluded it's scabies. They scared me with the treatments which will have real bad effects on the puppy health (50days puppy weight is 1.5kg). Then i have asked about what about bravecto they said it can't be given now. So after searching for a better cure for a while i seen this video and tried it today with 1 part neem and 10 part coconut oil. Hopefully 🤞 she will recover soon.

If there's mites involved this is your treatment. If there's yeast involved, you need to look at diet and supplements. If it's both, then you need both this treatment and a thorough look at diet and supplements. Generally what happens is low immune system due to poor diet and vet drugs which leads to mange and further health issues. What you don't need is the vet drugs, the bravecto and the dermatologist... for obvious reasons really.. and they'll never fix what they don't understand is the issue. I already understand the issues just from what you have said above. I don't know how much this is all costing you but for my very reasonable One to One fee, you could have a nutrition/supplement expert on tap to help fix this the kind way: One to One Dog Health Email Consultation and Support Service: healthydogforlife.com/one-to-one-total-dog-health-service/ In 12 weeks you'll have a different dog Ally.

So your wanting to get rid of a mange outbreak? 1 part neem oil to 4 parts carrier oil, almond, mix and apply to all infected areas. Go again 1 week later to be sure all areas covered and that's it. Allow to really soak in over several hours before washing off with mild shampoo such as Oatmeal Pet Wash: amzn.to/3CYUBjw Now, general mange means to me, lack of nutrition in the diet and or over vaccination/drugs autoimmune issues, so zero drugs/vaccs and much more fresh foods in the diet which you can start by taking out half present dietr and replacing with fresh foods such ad eggs, meats, canned sardines, veg and some organs ie liver ie 2tsp full daily in food for vitamins/minerals. Go small and slow to build to this mix of food over several weeks.. And add a soil based pribiotic: amzn.to/3yoURqU Start it small and slow first week. ie 1/4 dose first few days.

I just rescued a lab mix pup. He's just turned 3 months old. The vet gave me Simparica Trio to treat suspected mange. I've heard how toxic it can be for dogs so I'm not giving it to her. My question is, since he licks EVERYTHING, is there a carrier oil that is best to use? I was thinking coconut oil but should I heat it first to liquefy it? Also, should I do the 1:10 mixture? Thank you!
@DanScott1
@DanScott1 11 месяцев назад
Make the mixture 5:1 You can use olive oil, coconut oil, sweet almond, avocado oil etc It's ok if he licks all these oils and the neem oil but obviously try to avoid that so that he does not overdo it and make himself sick from all the mixed oils. Yes, if the coconut oil is hard, melt it to use. Good idea not to use Simparica - poison! If this is susupected demodectic mange then there's immune issues relating to diet or vet drugs. I highly recomend fresh food in the diet and not just a kibble/canned meal. And NO more vaccines as they have been amply proven to last 7-11 years by Ronald D Shultz and can lead to immune disorders, now very prevalent.

Oh the despair, I feel for you. I'd use neem oil as contact with the flea means death over 24 hrs but safe on animals/humans and natural. You could get a large spray bottle or the one you have currently, add 3 parts neem oil, 1 part liquid soap and the rest warm water, shake and spray everywhere but do it in the evening as you'll also kill bees and in th evening they've gone home. So if the sprayer was 1 gallon, that's 6 Tblesp neem oil, 2 Tblesp liquid soap, the rest warm water. Neem oil: amzn.to/3iV0Igq Kills fleas/ticks/mozzies/lice. Can also soak a bandana in neat neem oil and use as a collar on the dog in the yard. If spraying in the house, be carefull as neem is an oil, might be issues cleaning up and it's a bit smelly, sort of garlicky/nutty smelling but you can add a few drops of either Lavender, chamomile, cedarwood, peppermint, and frankincense oil are all safe for dogs. For in the house, Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade - amzn.to/3D9KEiR can be spread lightly everywhere, left 24hrs then vaccumed up. This dessicates the fleas. Best of luck (otherwise it's a flamethrower, lol)
