As a nemesis main its a shame to see so many people forget about nemesis If the devs actually fixed his zombies and gave him an add on rework he would've been used more I will carry on the nemi legacy no matter what

My go to strat for playing Nemesis is to load up on M1 perks and never respect pallets. People are so afraid of the tentacle that they leave themselves way to open to just getting punched. Once they are afraid of getting M1'd, the tentacle hits get really easy to land.

Its a Shame nobody really plays Nemesis anymore since wesker came out. Whenever survivor's see the boxes, they always assume its Wesker and not Nemmy.

Nemesis is so fun I just hate how bad the zombies are most of the time

I tend to run a build consisting of ruin, discordance, Spies from the shadows and no way out. Along with the purple coin addon for zombie speed and respawn rate, and marvins blood for infection progression. It gives great info on gens and survivors, and keeps your zombies continuously harassing survivor hot spots, which keeps ruin in a good place till it's cleansed. Slows the game to a crawl enough to get no way out stacks to get to tier 3 quickly/easily and always have zombies being useful. I've gotten many 4ks against even swfs and p100s with that build, and it makes nemi fun to play as!

I play as nemy for so long that this game was like a pain to see, nemy is a big boy and some times you just need to use perks to hide your terror radius and never go on the midle of map if you got a no terror radius effect on you... and the Add-ons need to be about zombies, never about Nemy, then you can win even players with 10.000 hours of game. (And some perks is good to buff nemy punch like save the best for last and coup is the best two perks to use on him)

I wonder if the nemesis stayed away from the hook because of the anti camping unhook near the end

I feel that some changes would put him in a better spot: 1. Make all contamination events take a health state (either via whip or zombies), this removes the “3rd” health state that just feels bad for the nemmy player and less abusable by survivors (i.e. using zombies for speed boosts and screwing with mutation economy). Ofcourse this also means why have contamination? Which brings me to point 2. How about if contaminated, zombies within 32 meters of such a survivors home in on them, increasing in speed if within visual range of the zombie(s), you could even give them a small lunge (think T1 myers), give em just enough speed that you cant just outwalk them and slightly more dangerous in close proximity. At present contamination isnt threatening and is only a hindrance to the nemesis player, zombies are also unthreatening, with the above changes, this would stop alot of the abuse cases and make elements of the nemesis less “fluff” and more useful. As otz detailed above, having contamination mean something (by giving zombies a homing beacon) it may incentivise survivors to use vaccines earlier, which helps his mutation economy, ofcourse a survivor could choose not to heal the contamination, but then zombies become more threatening, it also helps nemesis track a survivor as zombies would always be moving towards a contaminated survivor within 32 meters whether is can see them or not, which plays into nemesis’ fantasy of unstoppable pursuer. Ofcourse there are finer details to this ive given much thought in the course of mowing my lawn, and ive even given some thought to some addon changes, but the above is the general idea to improve nemesis in both strength and functionality without being oppressive (zombies remain useless while not near contaminated survivors) and nemesis still needs to tier up to be super threatening even if he could damage survivors always with the whip (it still has its windup, somewhat short range, can be countered by ducking behind obstacles etc, or side stepped, and he still moves slower in T1,T2). I just figure this would help with some of the pain points of playing nemesis while making him more engaging for the survivors.

Hey Otz, small question, do you think it'll be a good idea if they change the values on nemesis's tier up? As in making hitting infected survivors more valuable while non infected have no real issues? Conversely killing a zombie that hit a survivor should give more tier value as well comparable to hitting a infected survivor?

So glad im not crazy about telling others not to use the vax until min of T2 nemi, best to use it after T3, had to give an example of it where I hit T3 before my first hook and they got 3/5 gens done before that first hook, but they used all the vax by then, they got 4/5 gens done by 2nd hook but I still managed a 4K with even hooks because they had no way to vax after.

What if the more Survivors infected increased Zombies speed and range of awareness? Something like for each infection, zombie movement speed is increased by 25% and awareness increases by 25 degrees? That way odds are the zombie buffing addons can be changed to be Tentacle buffing addons and try to force Survivors to vaccinate earlier

Lately I’ve been getting SO MANY nemesis’s, kinda annoyed of it but I’m definitely gonna use the vaccine and zombie tip when I go against him now.

With nemy just hit the unhooker with tentacle, then the unhooked person. Easy tier 2. I usually do that if im struggling to get 2 normal hits.

It makes more sense for nemis Iri-ADdons to spawn more zombies rather then exposing players that just cleanse themselves

Hi Otz, I think something very interesting happened in your game. Its not related to the video but at 7:03, it seems like you used quick and quiet twice in a row. The first time the cooldown ended by the time you were through the window and the second time was normal. It's a real shame that the devs are unable to give Nemesis more than two zombies without breaking the game. One of this games biggest strengths should be the variety of killer that you can play On Any Given match and an entire game where you just have to run hide and fight zombies, all while trying to escape this hulking Colossus, sounds spectacular

As a P14 Nemesis main that's been playing since the Project W update, I come with a proposition. For the next 3-5 matches that I do, if I get steamrolled during those matches by survivors using your strategies to counter Nemesis, you are to blame. I will be back to share my experience when my matches are over. Before I get any backlash, let me be clear: I'm not attacking/hating on Otz. He's a very popular and skilled DBD player and I find that a lot of his fan's play styles revolve around his.
