The way you complimented this Doctor player was so sweet. He did play very fair, something that not many doctors do xD and even with prestige 18 he is using chill addons.

That doctor game was insane. For a solo queue ur teammates were on point doing the objective and the doctor played really well too

For some reason, from reading the addon description I assumed that the 10% bonus was to the 3% from the great skill check (which would be pretty much nothing), not 10% of the total progress bar. That's a huge difference!

Beginners can also use This is Not Happening and the Brown Glove Add On to help hit those greats while healing

I love using these add-ons when using hyperfocus + Stakeout. The effects of both those perks apply to healing as well.

This combo used to be extra fun when it still had the bonus blood points attached to both of them. I been having fun using it during the event because the void recharges extend the value for it all game. Streetwise; Built to Last; Stake Out; Hyperfocus and if someone brings leader or circle of healing or even another streetwise its like extra topping on the cake.

This is my kind of video! Huge fan of your second perk build, gets me out of so many chases right under the killer's nose. Take a smack, find a sneaky corner using Overcome, leave no scratch marks with Lucky Break, watch the killer walk right past you while you heal silently with Bite the Bullet. Doesn't always work (Nurse's Calling is the bane of this build), but it's so so satisfying pulling it off. And those suture add-ons for medkits when used in conjunction with Fogwise, Hyperfocus, and Stake Out... delicious. Great vid, Otz! Good stuff!

I've been using this addon for a few months now, it works especially well with hyperfocus. Genuinely underrated and I'm glad you're highlighting what a difference it can make

i've been using this add-on for a few weeks and i absolutely love it. you heal so fast and save some charges it's great

Great video otz. Another thought of having easier great skill check is to have stake out. Gaining tokens could take a bit of time but having them will guarantee you'll have great skill check in place to heal faster. Plus you could use build to last perk for regaining the charges, and you can use streetwise for efficiency of the item you used.

I ran gel dressings with the suture and used stakeout + streetwise. It was remarkable how easy it was to get a full heal- I managed to get 4 full heals out of it with a little bit left over. Built to last could also make it way easier to self heal constantly

I would recommend running stake out as well, it should give 1% bonus on top as well as near guaranteed greats. A gimmicky build to play with this could be stake out, built to last, empathetic connection (because of SoloQ utility, otherwise empathy could be better) and made for this (buckle up also goes well, it is because of saving potential in dire situation)

Finally someone gave that addon some love/vid. I’ve been using the green skill check addon with the iri patches with stake out and hyperfocus, built to last and last one is flexible. Distortion would be a decent perk for that very Nurse situation lol Super good.

I think that a nice alternative to this could be running Streetwise (Nea), Stake Out (Detective Tapp) and Bite the bullet (Leon), combined with the double skill check addons

I am surprised you didn’t do a build with stake out to enhance the ability to get and hit great skill check. The Leon healing build is pretty neat though!

Yes I love this and pairing it with stake out for myself since I’m not so good with consistency in hitting great skill checks

I loved using the skill check addons then stake out, bite the bullet and lucky break. 4th perk was up to how I was feeling. (Distortion fits in nicely). Most of the time they would be silent heals that would get sped up by at least 50%

When the "We have Autodidacte at home" is actually better than the Autodidacte himself

I always use the Add-On with the green charges, its like a cheaper middle-ground of both versions. Sometimes its really hard to get the 2 heals in, but its a fun challenge!

i know you mentioned it as a funfact halfway through the video, but i love running double skill check add-on with hyperfocus and stake out! it makes actually getting a skillcheck less difficult

Gel Dressing + extra charges is super strong during this Halloween event. When you free a ghost from the rift, you gain 50% of your item back, meaning you can have a free heal almost anytime you want. But my go to is extra charges with syringe, I usually gain enough bloodpoints to afford it in every game.

Also pairs very well with Stakeout and Fogwise. Pretty good for people who have trouble with hitting greats.

I been enjoying tht green skillcheck addon for ages because I didnt have gel dressings stacked. its a speed and charge addon rolled into one and so satisfying when u can squeeze max value from the greats

i recently rediscovered green suture and it became my favorite addon. Running it with yellow suture or even sponge is just fun, it's like autodidact without throwing the game

Stake Out and Hyperfocus are a good versatile combo because not only it improves your repair time with or without toolbox, but it also apply on healing teammates and yourself.

I definitely like you making more vids from the survivor PoV, even as a killer main.

I discovered this the other day. I used both the surgical suture and needle & thread add-ons, I got 5 great skill checks in a row and almost healed myself twice with a brown medkit. If you're lucky/good enough to get 6 great skill checks you can manage two full heals. You can also run Streetwise and guarantee two heals without using charge add-ons.

Last week i started using both skill check addons and was surprised no one made a vid about them, really underated, with a bit of luck and hit 3 skillchecks you can heal twice with 12 charges each time

i love this addon for meds, ive been using it with bite the bullet and stake out, the latter i highly reccomend for those who dont hit greats that often, also if you would like to pair distortion with stake out they have the same activation to stack up.

Otz giving away my secrets 😢......😂. This makes me so happy as in my solo survivor games I'll hopefully see more people carrying these combos so we get more consistent escapes (except you Claudette who's healing in the corner with Self Care 😅).

Hi :) Could you please make a video on Fogwise? Like before you did one with plot twist. One combination that is literally OP is Fogwise + Toolbox + Brand New Part Because the brand new part skill check is a great skill check it is guaranteed that you will see: a) Where is the killer b) Who is the killer c) If it is a stealth killer It is like lethal pursuer but for survivors. In my opinion it's huge to know those things listed above at the beginning of the game Cheers :)

What you could add when you try this build but are scared off the skill checks, i would maybe try Stake Out in this build, and the extra percent of it makes a little diffrence when you heal yourself. Just a suggestion.

I never stopped using this add on lol. Was my favorite before the nerf and after the nerf i use it either with the syringe or the add on to make the great skill check bigger. Helps alot in both situations

I'm a newer player but always liked to run the suture/sponge just so I can try to get more of those delicious great skill checks

I've been using this since the med-kit nerf and god I love it still, even more so with reactive healing!

the throw at the 3:05 made it seem like the hatchet was rebounding

Abdominal Dressing plus Surgical Suture is nice too; you only get one full heal, but hitting just three great skillchecks will bring the heal time down to ~13 seconds, with no other speed bonuses. Having Resilience, which also has utility outside of healing, will bring this time down to a sub-12, around 11.40

I always use the 2 Skill Check Add-Ons if I use a MedKit, they can heal you within a couple seconds if you hit them

I started using this add on about a month ago by accident. Then I’m game I was amazed at what it does.

My preferred add-ons is Surgical Suture + Needle & Thread for 15% bonus progression on healing. Might work well with the perk "This is not happening" if you're not good at hitting great skill checks.

I will give the addon a try, medkits lately have been my go too item so that i can heal my teamies faster, always enjoyed how the usage rate of the medkits reward altruism now.

i do this all the time when i have the resources (i run out of gel dressings a lot for obvious reasons). it's one of my favorite combos

I’ve literally been using a Variation of that Medkit with a build during haunted by daylight BTL, Stake out, Resilience, MFT and both the skill check add ons I call it the Great skill check Autodidact build lol each time you release a haunt and leave the void you also get half of your charges back on an item and you hi great skill checks no matter what if you have the S/O stacks.

I’ve been an adept of this add-on for a couple months now, it may legit be the best add-on combo except for syringe

This addon is one of my go to, especially with sponge to further increase it's provided bonus. If you struggle with hitting the great skill check, this is not happening helps greatly. If a killer loses focus on you, you could be healed within 8 seconds if you get lucky, as sometimes you won't get any skill checks. Wish they would be a perk to increase gsc chance to proc for everything. With some sort of soft cap since many top players would abuse it.

If you pair the surgical suture and the needle and thread add ons with the perk stakeout, then your healing is even faster. Gain tokens for being in the killers radius and the tokens turn good skill checks into great skill checks. I’ve been able to use this combo to self heal both much more quickly but also with half full med kits.

Stakeout + hyper focus makes this medkit loadout even better

If you use Detective Tap's perk that allows you to stack great skill checks, you still get value off the add ons even if you don't hit a great skill check. Great for people wanting value off the addons and get better at hitting greats.

As a avid stake out user the surgical thread add on helps so much

I have a build of my own creation I've been using for quite a while and it works like charm so far. Medkit with two needles, Hyperfocus, This is not Happening, Built to Last and Overcome. Hyperfocus gives you even more progress and even more chances to get a skillcheck. Base chance of skillcheck on self heal is 12.5%, you get 10 and 15% more with needles and 4% for every hyperfocus token. That gives you 37.5%+ chance every second, which is really big. TINH makes it easer to hit. Also you can use this combo to 99% yourself and press on gens hard when you need to. That gives you much needed versatility. Built to last recharges your medkit and gives you more heals in case you need them for a long game. Overcome basically deincentivizes killer from chasing you, giving you time for a free heal. You can become a menace of bodyblocking in case of a hard tunneling, killer can't really chase you instead, but you heal so fast that you can be ready for another bodyblock. Just like good old times. Also in case if medkit is useless in this match (for example against legion, plague or endless tier 3 michael) you can swap it with a toolbox from the chest or something. Toolbox will synergize with hyperfocus and this is not happening really well. In case of good luck and three successful skillchecks you can heal in around 8 seconds, but most of the time it will be around 10-12. One full medkit is enough for 2+ heals with some charges left that means built to last gives you around 6+ really fast self heals in one match. There are couple of downsides of course. Sloppy butcher will screw with your progress a little, if you need to recharge your medkit midheal. Also you need to be stone cold to use it properly. I had games when I couldn't hit skillchecks consistently and it really tilted me. But if you're calm and composed you can get a ton of value from this one.

Otz! I JUST found this out today while using one of these builds...the halloween event REPLENSIHES your item charge when you release a haunt from the void! (by 50% I believe) The whole time I never noticed until today. Little late I guess but more value from medkits for 2 more days lol

Combo that with hyperfocus, resilience I managed to get 2 full heal out of the 16 charge add ons and the green suture. What a combo!

I've always used the Gel Dressing and Surgical Suture, even before the Medkit change. It was a fast and good pairing.

Been using that addon combo for years. It's even better with the build Stake out, Hyper Focused, Built to last, and Prove Thyself. You can crank through gens and get heals quickly

If I'm running Stake Out/Hyperfocus I bring this build but other than that I'll bring the Styptic or Syringe. Needle & Thread + Surgical Suture is GOOD with those two perks.

This Is Not Happening is a great perk with this medkit. Your great skill checks are 30% easier to hit, when injured, so perfect for healing yourself

Finally the add on is seeing the light/surface, to me w the 8 ex charges, it can grant you two heals potentially if you can hit your skill checks, with streetwise or BTL its even better! Its a skillful addon Imo,

I'm bringing inner healing, to completely forget about medikit existence. Comes with a bonus of learning the map too!

10:20 a better alternative would be running stakeout with it Since my build is DM (desperate measures) no one left behind DH and stakeout I use the same addons although I’m almost out of gel dressing so I use gaze roll now with the addon
