you lost me at lan setup. router interface is much different than mine, I couldnt figure it out.
suppose we make the configuration for the port forwarding and i checked it by the port forwarding tool its working. now how can i access this device from remote location?
Does anyone know how to delete cuz it's not deleting my old port forwarding Minecraft server thing and it won't let me make a new one someone help me pls
I'm pretty sure I've Port Forwarded correctly, have the correct setting applied for the firewall on my anti-virus to allow this, yet I still have a connection timed out when trying to use a port check tool. Can this be because the ISP is blocking a port I want to use? Why do they block ports? Trying to set up a project on UE4 with a friend so we can work together.
did you ever figure this out? I am having the same issue. I called my ISP (Spectrum) and they told me they arent blocking any of the ports...I keep getting this connection timed out error.
I have a huawei router, and I have set the port forwarding settings properly (forwarding port 25565 with my pc's internal static ip) but it just does not go through. The port-checking-tool always says the same error message "connection timed out" it does't work either if i disable firewalls on the router or my pc (not even if i disable both at the same time). What can i do to get this working?
@@vilkkaa1236 alright!! Kiitos vastauksesta!
Im trying to host a minecraft server on my pc I have thing Called vertual Server on my router i pasted the 25565 port and selected my device but my friends cant connect to me idk why
I know for the external ip adress you have to search on google what is my ip and for the internet ip you have to search up cmd in the windows search and press enter a black box should open, inside it type in ipconfig and then look for the line that says ipv4 adress and that is your internal ip
@@runningintherain9630 i have no idea but if you are trying to port forward in IOS i don't think it will work. though i have never tried port forwarding on IOS i think u should try and search it on google i am more experienced with port forwarding on windows
@@techogeek8416 hey can you portforward without router access? i tried a tutorial and it never worked. can you see me says its a connection timed out problem. how can i fix that? its for a bedrock minecraft server if that helps. Thanks!
sooo... my router is KEEBOX, and it is freaking awful. I have been trying to do this for hours just to set up one single minecraft server :P for some reason when I search up "How to use port forwarding for KEEBOX" it shows me where to go and it is obviously there. When I go to that place on keebox for my self it is not EVEN THERE. So the setting for port forwarding is not even there for me therefor it is basically impossible for me to do this. I cannot figure out why its not there please help me someone!
Some routers have a standard login and an admin login. The standard logins often wont have as many configuration options as the admni logins. Search google to see if there is an admin login fro your router model
I have tried everything. Port forwarding just doesnt work. I set custom rules in my firewall, I selected the right port and device in my router, there is no reason for it not to work but it just doesnt.
I have set up my port forwarding, made my device have a static IP address, and yet it still won't work. I honestly have no idea what could be causing this, does anyone know?

Very low voice, boring monotone and fast talking.. I missed many things and didn't understand everything. Low resolution video and no one can read the text.. only can see the text field locations and totally rely on the voice. Is this video really from the company?
