Continuing on the how to trout fish series, we’re going to go over how to catch stocked trout, how to catch trout, and how to catch wild trout. This week we're discussing the inline spinner. The inline spinner is a very popular lure, for good reason. It is simple, and catches fish.
In this video I discuss how to catch fish on the inline spinner. I cover how I like to fish the inline spinner, the best rod and reel for trout, best line for trout, and terminal tackle you'll need to maximize your chances to catch fish. As well as where to look for trout when going out to fish.

That was a good video. As someone who is pretty good at catching bass, but HORRIBLE at catching trout, I really paid close attention to your tips. What were you using as your rod/ reel combo? I liked the look of that rod.

Thanks pal! Trout are finicky but once you get a good understanding of them, it’s not much different than catching smallmouth bass tbh. The rod is a 6’9 St. Croix trout series rod, 2 piece medium lite action. The reel is a 2000 size shimano vanford. One of my favorite setups I’ve ever owned!

@fishkrazed I read a few comments down and saw you answered that question about the rod earlier (I guess I should have read first, then asked the question😅). Thanks for the reply.... I am starting to make my own inline spinners so maybe I will have better luck this season. If not, there are always bass around 🤣
