Learn to tune it.
The basics of it involve, flipping the axle, bearing, and tightness of the yoyo to find a setup that makes the yoyo run at its smoothest.
Keep in mind the smoothness will only be in very small increments not noticeable to the beginner to intermediate player. However, for those guys looking for those smaller gains here is a great way to start.

Thanks Brandon, I have a Bomb squad Advant Garde 2 that had a lot of vibe to it, and all I had to do was flip the bearing and now it’s running butter smooth.

I used to play yoyo when I was young. I got a 70p yoyo from wish for my kids😅. It needed a good bearing out the box but. This video helped very much thank you

To remove the axel, without damaging the threads, wrap a small strip of masking tape around the axel a few times.

man that was huge....I took my sidekick pro apart and found the axle was very loose. totally different yoyo now... thanks.

If you buy two small nuts the thread size of the axle threads you can lock them together use them to turn out the axle without risking damaging it's threads.

This video turned my bi metal shutter vibe from like a 5 or 6 yo atleast an 8 or 9. I used cloth on my bearing though and my fingers for the axel lmao. Need to break in the Shutter bearing a little more then lube her up with thin lube and be good to go.

My G5 is pretty smooth but my protostar, the star on the dome in the middle makes the pulse vibe cause something that looks like an eyeball pupil opening and closing over and over again.

hey dude CLYWS. I open them and they vibe. From the first snag/open. What the heck are they doing to tune their yoyos so they play perfect till you open it? I know the axle has a flat side and a rounded side.
