Hey Johnny can you do a video on how to identify bafang bearing noise and which one to replace? My bbshd anytime the chainring is spinning (powered or unpowered, also while while free spinning) and I've got no clue on how to tell which one I need to replace

Good information as always. Hey on a side note. I know you've been keeping us all posted on M 635. Considering all the current issues do you think this torque sensing motor is worth waiting for? Were can I get a himiway cruiser rear motor 750watt and a controller for it? In the usa? My controller burned up, the wires on the motor melted. I don't want to send my money directly to China. Anywere in usa would be great

Must be a mistake, we were never having an open shop tomorrow. We are doing a tune up event next Saturday for the first 20 to sign up at the Eventbrite page though 👍

@@JohnnyNerdOut Oh. Sorry. I watched your Wednesday live show and thought you mentioned this Sunday. I heard you wrong. How often do you recommend greasing the front and rear wheel hub bearings? On ebikes.

@@bergmanst great question. It’s a good idea to occasional spin then to make sure they are spinning freely. If they have any resistance, service them.

@@JohnnyNerdOut At higher speeds 25 plus miles per hour I hear a little screeching from the front wheel. The sound comes and go. I have 3500 miles on the bike. To be honest. I've never greased the bearings in the hub. I haven't found many videos on the wheel I have to grease them.

Is 250w really discontinued? No one has them only 500 750 1000 Only price gouge sellers have 250 ....nearly double the 750w motor kit price .. lol. Insane. No bafang for me..I may do "bike e bike" if I'm gonna spend that much..and get a 1.7 kg motor instead of 3.8 kg.
