Tuning a gas block is critical to make sure your PSA JAKL runs reliably and consistently. With eight positions to choose from, you can dial in your JAKL to your specific ammo types and accessories.
Love you guys. My AK-V came a few weeks ago and absolutely loving it and finished with decking it out with a sling attachment. Great quality stuff at very reasonable pricing
Looking forward to the Jakl Vuk AK 7.62x39 version. If I may make a recommendation for it, Make it with a functioning bolt catch and custom fouler AK last round hold open mags for it's release. Not only will this set it apart from all the other AK/AR hybrids, but have AK mags that sell like crazy for the platform in general.
Good advice in general for any adjustable gas block firearm. Same advice here works for AK's and AR's, except for the bolt hold on AK's because not all mags do it.
Looked through the entire jakl category on the PSA website and couldn't find it. I then searched "jakl handguard" and there it was, on the very last page. Really hope the patterns are back in stock soon. They look amazing.
Love the JAKL system and I'm REALLY hoping you guys bring the JAKL 308 to market so I don't have to spend $4500 for a Spear 308! A fully ambi lower to go with it would be nice too I'm sure plenty of customers would be willing to pay a bit for for that festure from the PSA brand! Please make it happen!!
I love the look and side charging of the JAKL, but it is inferior to my AR-15 with my Osprey Defense piston system. I don't need to adjust it at all and it runs all ammo, suppressed or not. I definitely want to get the JAKL in 308. That will be a solid rifle!
T.Rex Arms said their JAKL gas block was not working... "all gas or no gas" would love to hear what the problem with theirs was, or if you corrected it!
Perfect timing, going to break in one of my two new jakl uppers today and they did not come with paper manuals. You reading minds PSA? Also, please make a belt fed jakl upper to compete with MCR's upper, I would be the first to buy one since they own a monopoly on them and want to charge 7k.
So are we supposed to have the 8 position or the 2-4 position plugs? My 10.5 came with the 4 position but I would prefer the 8 so I don’t have to change the whole thing when shooting supressed/unsuppressed
I just submitted a warranty claim about this same exact thing and I feel targeted... That said, it does explain what was happening that day at the range, I thought it was way under gassed but might have been way over gassed.
@@Dylan.More-Veiny yeeeeah they probably won’t answer that because there isn’t enough market for it. I’m not saying ppl don’t want it, it’s just that not enough ppl want it when x39mm is more popular. They’d have to get new machinery and more production lines etc. They may eventually get to making it, just not anytime soon.
I’ve been saying it from the beginning but no one will listen to me y’all need to change the angle of your brass deflector it is to steep of an angle and is causing the round to get hit into the front of the ejection port if it had a more shallow angle regardless of the gas setting this wouldn’t happen. The early ACRs had the same issue thats why the changed the geometry and y’all need to as well
