At the time of this video I wasn't using ARP head studs. But I am now with my new setup. And also yes I am using a bigger fuel pump. Walbro 255. And bigger injectors 750cc ebay injectors. If you have anymore questions hit me up. Thanks for watching 😁👍

Duwop77 NP bro. Thanks for making it! Did you have any problems running it without the head studs? I'm on the fence about getting them only because I hate messing around with the timing belt and I know I'll have to take it off if I get the studs.

@@False_Death no I didn't have any problems. I was using the stock GSR head bolts and they held just fine. Most people use head studs because of high boost or just for that extra precaution.

@@PatrickB4 I feel you. That was my same mind set. Your on the right path. Just get a simple ebay starter kit. Keep it at low boost 5-8psi. And find a good tuner. Turbo is very addictive, try not to dog it all the time😆 Just for a heads up the kit I bought and installed on this video was Rev9 from Ebay. The price at that time was $611👍

The 12 point ones on eBay are 8mm it will clear the mount holes for the turbo manifold.

No electronic boost controller. But it would be a nice addition. I upgraded the fuel pump to a walbro 255. My injectors are 750 cc ebay brand. But it's best to get brand reliable injectors. My ecu is a chipped p28. I was running a stock clutch at that time boosting up to 10psi and it held it with no problem. If you have any more questions feel free to contact me. Thanks for watching 😁👍

I'm not using a boost controller. Diff boost controllers are hooked up differently. But all are ran into your vacuum supply. The Watergate I'm using in this video has a port at the top I capped off that's for a boost controller. I'm also using a stock 3 bar map sensor. Works fine with low boost. Thanks for watching 😁👍

Ben Smith With the kit I purchased the only problems I had was the down pipe hanging to low. And finding a way to route the dump tube. I just went to a local muffler shop to have the down pipe shortened. You can do the same for the dump tube. Turbo is a lot of fun I recommend it to anyone. Just find a good tuner. It's a 1/2 npt to 5/8 barb. You can get them from Ace hardware, Lowe's or Home Depot. Not sure where your from.

@@Duwop77 thanks for the response bro can i use a 1/2 barb instead of 5/8? The 5/8 is super tight on the barb i cant even pull it out ! Or will it be too small to drain correctly?

@@lamydora457 5/8 is what I used cause it's equivalent to the 10an fitting and hose I was using. Also that's the proper size for drainage. Don't want to go too small. Try using grease or wd40 in the hose or on the fitting for easier removal or installation.

blue sky Sup bro, I'm not sure how your setup is. But with me the only extra vacuum lines I needed to run was for the blow off valve and wastegate. Both I tied in using a vacuum T fitting. If you need further assistance let me know I'll try to show it in my next video. Thanks for watching 👍

It all comes down to the condition of the engine and the skill of the tuner. But on average 8-10psi. Fuel type also can play a role. Thanks for watching 😁👍

Kenny Vincent I had it tuned after the install. My intentions was to add the Dyno session to this vid but forgot to 😑

The ecu is always tuned after to suit the setup Any map that is put onto the ecu before hand is normally regarded as a base map and would mean the car is untuned even if its to suit you injectors and engine because every setup is different they should have different tunes, even 2 setups that have exactly the same parts could need a different tune

I once had one of the threads strip out for my exhaust manifold. I bought a helicoil kit from napa. You just have to drill the hole bigger with the drill bit that was included. And thread in the helicoil insert. I may still have the item number if that's something you may need? Thanks for watching 😁👍

Yes, long as you leave the stock injectors in. Also remove the intake from the throttle body so it doesn't take in boost. Thanks for watching 😁👍

La Channelloto I used my OEM dipstick. It seems to be accurate. Also if your having issues. Just pour in 4qts of oil and you should be good. Long as you don't buy the 5qt pan. After adding 4qts take note of where the level is in case it's different from the OEM markings. Just make sure your on flat ground when checking oil level. 👍
