How to Turbo Ford Sierra (part 2)

In this video i go over what i use for fueling the Ford Sierra Turbo car.
Keep in mind that I’m not a professional mechanic and I’m just doing this as a hobby with my friends.
There is many ways to do this and how far you will go in fabrication and parts.
There will be more content of this build soon in better detail.
Current numbers on what the car makes and has: 263HK 382NM
Ford Sierra Pinto 2.0i Cat -88
Stock bottom and head (low comp)
Type-9 Gearbox with AP Racing Clutch plate KL Racing Sinther clutch
MLS Cometic Head gasket & ARP Head studs
Siemens Deka 875cc (E85)
Bosch Motorsport 2x2 wasted spark ignition coil
Bosch 044 Fuel pump
Mitsubishi TD04HL-19T(Copy)
KL Racing intercooler
ECU Master EMU

Hi!, awesome build!, I'm from Argentina and we also have SIERRA's over here. I'm wondering if you have some information on SIERRA's power steering rack repair, of if you know who sells replacement parts for it. Thank you in advance!.

Same plans for me, just took a head off the engine to change the camshaft😂, now the plan is to turbo it. Here in estonia we don't have e85, what do you think about running similar setup on 98octane. Engine is 2.0is 85kw NRB

Ah well you probably won't be able to achieve the same HP reliably. E85 makes wonders when it comes to turboing your car if the tuner is good :) but a similar setup was reliable for me as long you remember to re-torque the head with the ARP bolts.

CarCultureSweden is your clutch cover the strongest ap racing cover from burton power? and does the kv racing clutch disc work with standart pinto flywheel? also can you send the clutch disc link or part number? thank you

I dont know if its the strongest but it will hold for 420nm ish with sinther clutch disc and yes it fits with standard flywheel. Here are the part numbers: Burton Power Partnr: CP2511-1 KLRacing Partnr: 02562

hey where did you buy your ignition coils and injectors ? and does the injectors fit in the orginal manifold ?

nikolai therkelsen hey! I bought the bosch motorsport ignition coil from Ebay, the Siemens deka injectors is fitting just perfect in standard fuel rail with original clips :)

nice thanks i saw that you had a plug n play stick¨for the ecu made do you think they are able to make the same thing just for a megasquirt ecu ? :) and what was it you did with the wiring harness did u buy a brand new or ? and if where haha :)

To be honest, thats not an engine i would put my money in turbo'eing. Rather go with a Pinto way easier and reliable. Few have put turbos on those engines here in Sweden but they blow up after a short while.

Visa gärna hur man kopplar in nytt sprut som tex MS v3 eller något annat kul då jag snart ska bygga en driftbil på en sierra kombi med pinto motor :)

Hade gärna Hampus men är inte alls insatt i MS spruten, ECUMaster valde jag för att det verkade som ett sprut som är relativt lätt att förstå anslutningarna på, samt att PSI Motor som mappade bilen är nära om det är något och de är väldigt kunniga på ECUmaster. Jag funderade starkt på MS från början men support till det var inte jätte tillgängligt i mina trakter och verkade lite mer komplicerat på nått sätt. PlugNPlay härvan köpte jag från Gzracing som jag använder mot ECUMaster.

okej tack för infon värt å tänka på för jag har inte direkt någon större koll på hur sprut å el ska kopplas å has. Ska försöka hitta någon som kan mappa med ECUMaster här omkring där jag bor så kanske jag härmar dig med sprut.

Ja alltså utgångsläget är att få hjälp nära till hands om det är några frågor osv. Därför valde jag ECUmaster + att Jocke på GzRacing kunde ordna PnP härva rätt lätt för rimlig slant. Största orosmomentet under hela bygget var så klart hur man kopplar in allt osv. Men efter lite youtubande och några samtal med Gzracing så löste allt sig sen började allt bli logiskt. :)

How expencive is e85 in Sweden? (I'm not from Europe, so it's interesting) And can you use this car for every day?

E85 costs about 1euro per liter or 1.22USD / Liter. Yes its drivable everyday if i wanted to. I started the car up first time today after sitting for 2 and a half months, drove for about 45 minutes without any problem. -1 Celsius outside :)

@@carculturesweden2668 Thats expensive, it averages about 0.65 EURO's here (as low as 0.46 EURO's if you are willing to travel to get it :) do you use a flex fuel sensor on yours?
